The Giant waves of water came rushing down upon washing everyone away sending the Knights and their horses flying off in all directions. The current was so strong trees even took flight, as the sound of people struggling to survive the current fill the air, well unless they were trapped under the current...
(Cough, cough, cough)
I wake up coughing up water, as I spot an elder beside me with her back turned towards me.
"Rest child, it's a miracle you didn't drown from inhaling that much water into your lungs", she would say before turning around.
"It's you the witch from the stand booth!!" I would shout as I am surprised by her appearance here.
"Thy name is Eris," as she places her hands behind her back as she gazes upon me laying on the straw bed. Looking around it would appear that I was inside of a tent of some sort as I could see the bright sunlight shining in from the split in the door.
"Wait a moment, what's going on, what happened to the giant tsunami?" I would ask Eris. Eris would help me sit up before she would begin to try and explain what all happened so I could understand.
As the storm clouds formed above the town Eris would have been already on her way to meet back up with her granddaughter. However, at her current age, she knew she would never reach the town in time before her granddaughter Maple unleashed one of her spells. Quickly dropping her items to get her wand she would try to keep the tsunami in a controlled manner as much as possible but sending it off into multiple directions to quickly clear the area. However, controlling that much water by herself is nearly impossible. Thankfully no one was severely injured however the town was completely destroyed and washed away by the tsunami, the people in the center of town were lucky Maple's Familiar put up a barrier around that small area to protect you all from being washed away as well. Eris wasn't really sure why Maple was still unable to conjure normal spells that she could control, Maple was just gifted with destruction spells no matter the spell. In short term, Maple is a loose cannon with no control over her abilities and that's very dangerous as she could accidentally injure the innocent. This is why she was given Olive to help her balance her abilities to a minimum without overdoing it.
As I continued to listen to Ms. Eris talk we began to hear arguing coming from the outside along with a lot of constructions sounds.
"Don't mind the noise it's been like that allay" she would tell me as I got up from the bed to check out what was going on.
"Just who in the right mind thinks your the greatest witch ever!" shouts Kyanite
"How dare you, everyone knows that I'm the greatest witch" answers Maple as she stands her ground against Kyanite.
"You could have killed us all, yeah right greatest witch ever!" Shouts Kyanite.
"Never!, I would have never done such a terrible thing" responds Maple as she shakes her head in frustration towards Kyanite. The two of them would continue at it even as I walked out of the tent being blasted by the sun's rays. Eris would exit the tent behind me quickly telling me that the two of them had been at it all morning since they woke up. Looking around the area it would look as if everyone from the village was here along with people from the town.
"Wait, where the hell are we" I questioned as this was not Eastmoor town, well it could be but it was so much different.
"That's correct, this isn't Eartmoor" says a familiar manly voice quickly catching my attention. Eris and I would look to our left, spotting Felix heading towards us with wood under his right arm. Walking over towards us with a smile on his face he looked as if he had seen a better day but at least he was smiling.
"Morning, this is indeed not Eastmoor as that place is now drowned off the map" answers Felix. This was going to be their new village, its was a few miles into the deep forest but at least it's safe. There was going to be a lot of work needed to get this place up and functioning as a real village but they had the manpower to do it.
"You should thank Ms. Eris as well she healed most of our wounds alongside her granddaughter during the night after rescuing us.
(.....Was it just me, but did his opinion on witches Change overnight)
"Young one I do have questions to ask you if you don't mind" asked Ms. Eris as she tapped my back softly. As I would turn to face her she would as me about how I came to arrive in this world. Felix would suddenly look a little surprised before asking what did she mean by that.
"Exactly what I said, How did you arrive here child" Eris would reply.
I would try to give my best answer as the only thing I remember was getting off from work and hearing a dog barking up the street. After checking on the dog I would slip and fall into a manhole in an alley and suddenly waking up in this place. Eris wasn't quite sure what to say but she knows what she saw in her crystal ball before it cracked.
"That's all I know, I just wanna go back home I don't belong in this world" I would try to explain to them. Felix sill couldn't believe it however Eris would shortly suggest to me that I should return to the area I came here in, as my answers may still be there.
"I checked there, there was nothing there" I would reply.
"Perhaps the door is hidden to the human eye, maybe a witch and a strong senses may be of assistance to you" explained Eris.
"What are you saying?" I would ask.
"I'm saying you may need assistance in finding the door, as you may not be able to find it on your own. Felix would suddenly agree as he has been up and down the roads for many years and hasn't seen anything out of the ordinary. Being a witch of arts I could only hope she knew what she was talking about that I'd be able to return to my own world.
"Are you planning to travel with me there to fin?" I would ask them as they looked at me curiously. Felix would have to decline as his people needed him now as their village's new leader, and Eris would also decline as she must tend to the wounded.
"You already have your answer child, my granddaughter seeks adventure as an adventurer, and the Okamimimi that arrived with you all may become quite an ally for you all" she would explain to me.
"WHAT!" shouts Maple as she rushes into the conversation in a dramatic fashion. Quickly declining to travel alongside me into the world as a team as Kyanite would begin to make her way over to us as well.
"Why not child, this is what you've always asked for to be a great Witch and adventure the world" replied Eris as she looks upon her granddaughter.
"Yes, I meant traveling with you not this.. this pervert" replied Maple.
"Pervert!" they would say among themselves.
"Why would you say that?" asked Eris.
"Well, he basically came over and started grabbing all on me and pulling on my dress, it could have ripped I have you know" explained Maple giving me a frightened look.
"Wait he did what to you" questioned Kyanite as she gave me a frightened look. I would try to clear up the confusion as I would never have done such a lewd thing to her, I was just thanking her for coming to help us in the heat of danger was all.
"By groping her?" Kyanite would say aloud.
"NO!" I would quickly respond.
As everything would settle down I would just take a breather, however, both Kyanite would refuse to travel alongside me and that was understandable. On the other hand, I know that I cannot stay in this world forever I'm not sure if anyone would even want to stay here, this place is dangerous and crazy. Eris believed that there was something still in Fur-ru village that could lead me back home and like it or not that was maybe the lead I have to going back. Looking towards the bright sun in the sky I would begin to try to convince myself to try and make it there before sundown as it may be easier to spot something with the sun out instead of waiting till nightfall.
"Well then, what do you plan on doing" asked Felix
"I think I'm going to go back to the village and see what I can find" I would reply to them. Not really knowing my way around this world I would begin to ask Felix for instructions on how to get back to Fur-ru village from here. However, even upon getting instructions Felix still felt a bit of guilt for sending me off into the unknown world alone.
"Kazuku how about I send along a villager to guide you Fur-ru village , after all, you did help save us twice" explained Felix. I quickly accepted that option without any hesitation as I close my eyes with joy and begin to thank the gods. As I and Felix walked over to another tent, I would follow him inside quickly taking notice of a hatchet laying on a dresser.
"Take it" demanded Felix
"The hatchet? no, I can't I have never used a hatchet in my life" I would explain.
"Take it, for your all your troubles. In the heat of danger, this hatchet may just save your life" explained Felix as we turned around to notice another gentleman entering the tent.
"This man here is Hagger, he will lead you to the path back to Fur-ru village but he will not go beyond that point" Felix would explain.
"Thank you, Felix, halfway will do fine" I answered before I would turn and thank Hagger for agreeing to travel with me. Hagger looked like an old-fashioned lumberjack dressed in kimono with his red hair and beard.
"It's no problem, my dear boy" he replied as his mighty hand came down upon my shoulder. Hagger lived in Eastmoor town for quite a while tending to market needs such as the heavy lifting so he's kind of well known for that. Hagger also will be moving his family to this new village they are currently building, guessing it had something to do with Kyanite hanging around, and not to mention two witches as well. Turning my attention back to the Hatchet, the hatchet had a freshly carved wooden handle attached to its steel blade. Picking the hatchet up I would carefully examine it, this was truly the first time I have ever had or held a real hatchet in my hands. This weapon was no toy this was indeed the real deal and so I wouldn't joke around with it as it can indeed bring harm.
"I'll be outside, come to me once you're ready to head out," said Hagger as he turned a exited the tent. As I would begin to follow after Hagger, Felix would stop me for a brief moment.
"Thanks again for everything, if you do ever return do make sure you stop by to say hello" demanded Felix as he reached out for me to shake his hand.
(There was no way in hell I was planning to return to this world once I go back)
"Sure" I would reply as I reached out and shook his hand before exiting the tent.
Exiting the tent I would spot Kyanite sitting on the well sitting in the middle of the town under the shade. I thought about walking over and thanking her for helping me these past few days but then again she may just say something smart and to be honest, I don't feel it may be worth that. However, I didn't want to be rude so I would decide to walk over and thank her for her help so far. Approaching her I could slowly begin to hear the peaceful waters echoing in the well. Kyanite would shortly turn her attention towards me as I approached her slowly.
"Hi, I -I just wanted to thank you" I would tell her.
"For what exactly?" she would ask as her crystal blue eyes laid upon me.
"Well for your help, and helping the villagers" I would answer as I scratched the back of my head with my left hand.
"Whatever I was just repaying my debt for freeing me is all" she would answer as she closed her eyes and looked away from me.
"Well, yeah anyway I just wanted to thank you is all" I would tell her as I would begin to wall off to leave her be and go to meet up with Hagger who was waiting on me. Meeting up with Hagger he didn't really look as if he wanted to head back out, maybe that's why he's only going to go halfway.
"Ready young lad?" He would ask
"Yes, I'm ready to go" I would respond as I nodded my head towards him. Once he nodded back towards me we set off to make our way to Fur-ru village. Heading along the forest trails everything seemed so peaceful for the moment as there were birds tweeting back and forth among the tree. There was even a pack of dear not too far off in the distance, If I only had a camera with me it would have been a love photo to take...
"WAIT THAT'S RIGHT MY PHONE!!" I would say aloud quickly getting Hagger's attention as he stops and turns to look back towards me.
"Is everything alright?" He would as he sees me reaching around on my body to feel for my cell phone.
"Yes, I'm fine I am just looking for my phone" I would respond as I pull it out of my pant's back pocket.
"A what-ah" Hagger would ask, " A cell phone, it's an electronic device that allows you to make phone calls and many other things such as photos and social media" I would explain to him causing even more confusion. As Hagger gazed upon it, he wasn't really impressed by it as they had never even seen a cell phone before.
Looking at it I still didn't have service or anything but did still want to take the picture of the dear. Opening my cell phone's camera to take the photo something odd occurred, the screen was very distorted and pixelated, could the phone maybe have gotten damaged I began to wonder but it didn't seem like it as everything else was working fine. Turning the phone around to check the lens, it would seem to be in the pitch-perfect condition as well. With the camera not working there would be no way for me to take the photo so I would just place the phone back into my pocket for the time being as there wasn't really much I could do with it at the moment.
"Well then, shall we continue" asked Hagger
