"Oh?! yeah!" let's continue" I would answer as we turn to continue our long hike to Fur-ru village. Coming to our first intersection I would spot the road leading to Eastmoor Town and looking down that long road everything was completely demolished from the massive tsunami caused by Maple's magic. Gladly we didn't need to through that way to reach Fur-ru village.
"I must admit I 'm not really fond of Witches and Kemonomimis but I must say I'm glad they came to aide us" replied Hagger as he gazed upon Eastmoor as well. I was indeed as well thinking back to it when I freed Kyanite from that box I had no clue if I was going to make it or not, so I kind of understood where Hagger was coming from. As we looked I began to notice that Hagger had a slight look of worry upon his face as if there was something far worse out there.
"Something up Hagger?" I would decide to ask him.
"Indeed young one, as those men were from the Kingdom Of Jarel, ruled by Prince Mallus"
"Prince Mallus" I would respond...
"Correct, he's a mad man and if he ordered those men to attack Eastmoor, and they failed things are not gonna be looking pretty for much longer." he would explain to me.
Hagger would begin to explain to me that as a farmer of trades he has been to the Kingdom of Jarel grounds as there is a farm out there. As he and his assistant road their way into town on their horses they would spot the farm as it was run by a married couple. This particular farm was the main supply of food at the time the Jarel Kingdom, so they always needed to make sure they had enough supplies. Hopping down and tying their horses to the wooded stands out front. As Hagger and his assistant unloaded everything from their wagon to the barn they would spot a few knights riding in the barn looking for the owners of the farm. They were all requested to go to the Kingdom as the Prince demanded to speak with them immediately. Making their way to meet up with the prince they would all be struck in their back by the knights as the Prince entered the hall. Being forced to kneel in his presence they could only wonder why exactly were they summoned as they had done nothing wrong, Well the Prince had summoned them because some of the food he received wasn't quite up to his taste, So he gathers all of the cooks and the farmers. Comparing their food, and cooking's to food that would be feed to outsiders instead of true royalty. He would smile as he made them all kiss his boot before he would step on them treating them all like trash. As everything would seem ok, sadly the Prince wouldn't let them go without his signature mark. Killing one of the chefs, Hagger's Assistant, and the farmer's wife before their very eyes in a blink of a flash with a bright smile on his face. Prince Mallus was a monster and always has been, but he will stop at nothing to get what he wants, meaning it was something in Eastmoor at that time he has set his eyes on. You could only wonder what he was going to do to the knights once they returned empty-handed.
I wasn't sure what to say to Hagger as that sounded very traumatizing, I'm just glad I won't be having to deal with him or this world much longer once I return back to my world.
"Mark my words, one day this world will have a new high king to unite the lands once more" Hagger would tell me as we began to continue our walk.
"So you say you're not from this world so I hear" asked Hagger.
"That's correct, I'm not from here" I would reply before he began to question what was my world was like. I would begin to try and explain it so he could understand in the simplest form but talking about it too much just made me miss it even more.
"This world of yours sounds quite nice I would very much love to see it if I could" replied Hagger.
"Wait do you think that's possible" I would question Hagger.
"If it is possible one thing for sure you must prevent that at all cost, I could only imagine If someone from our world managed to go to your world" explained Hagger. I didn't even think about it that way before but he was right If I could come here it's no telling that they can't go there. So the sooner I returned back to my world the better as I don't need anyone from this world in my world. I couldn't even imagine a witch or an animal hybrid being living in modern-day society the world would go insane.
Meanwhile, as Jarel Kingdom Castle thing would not be going so well as all of the returning Knights would all been beaten by the prince one after the other as the kingdom watched for their failure.
"You all return to me, empty-handed and beaten again by this so-called Kemomomimi AGAIN!!" he would shout as he clenched tightly on a knight who began begging for his life.
"There was a magic-user with them this time, we stood no chance" they would cry out. Hearing that only made Prince Mallus even more upset as just the thought of his men being beaten by two people was outrageous. Mallus's anger explodes tossing the scared knight aside...
"You all seem to have forgotten just who I am!" he would say aloud as he summons his magical armor forth.
"My name is Mallus the King Of Flash and I do no lose to anyone" he would shout as he stands in his black armor with a golden cape attached to its back as he draws forth his blade. Mallus's abilities of flash were truly a sight to see, the quickness and with his swordsmanship Mallus was indeed no joke. Said to have been blessed by the god Hermes as a child, now nobody knows if this is true or not but this is what he chooses to believe.
"If you failures want to live, you all will face me combat to the death" he would tell all of the returning knights. Knowing it was suicide the knights are face to make a decision, the knights were just pawns to Mallus as he eventually slaughtered them all for their failures. The Jarel kingdom was full of land and the locations that they could be hiding in, which only made matters worse. As they watched the devastation before their eyes, the prince would yet to be satisfied as he wanted them found immediately. It was time to pay a visit to a friend for advice, placing his sword in its sheath.
SNAP! "clean this mess up before I return, and let this be a lesson to you all failure is never an option" Mallus would preach before heading back to his castle. Pushing open the castle doors the Prince would begin to make his way down to his dungeon. Opening its very old wooden doors he would be greeted by a long steel hallway leading to a secure steel door. As he began walking along the hallway the see-through glass wall on his left and right would light up of a green neon revealing bodies inside of chambers in deep sleep. Mallus would pay no mind to them as he proceeded to the next door. As the very heavy steel door slowly began to open leading to a room full of pitch-black darkness. Falling and kneeling to one knee, Mallus would begin to wait until he began to hear movement from inside the room.
"Overseer I have come to you in need of advice, there is a problem that needs attending to" explained Mallus. A burst of feminine laughter is heard as the sounds of dragging chains in heard in the darkness.
"Well, well long time no see Prince, look at you all grown up now, just as all the others you have now come to see me as well" she would say.
"Rise Prince Mallus as ruler of Jarel, there is no need for such actions" she would explain as she walked closer towards the light as Mallus rose up from his feet. As her grey skin reached the light before turning peach her purple hair and red eyes would stare Mallus face to face.
"I am in your debt my Prince" replied Beatrice The Overseer. Gazing upon this naked beauty before his eyes Mallus wouldn't be so fooled as Beatrice was nowhere near as nice as she looked however she has always been loyal to the one who sits on the throne. Reaching both her arms forward towards the prince revealing her chained shackles that needed to be removed. Mallus knew the consequences of freeing Beatrice from her bounds as it took even the ruler before him everything they had to make sure she never left those halls again.
"Not so fast Beatrice, there's something else" demanded Mallus as he stood before her.
"I'm not like the ones before me, I first saw you as a child, and I know exactly what was taken from you" explained Mallus as Beatrice would stand in silence.
"There is indeed a problem I have but there is one more thing I must see-through, I must see that I become the one to become ruler of the Four Kingdoms," said Mallus. Squinting her eyes before him Lady Beatrice wouldn't seem fazed by the Prince's demands however just like the ones before him he would be seeking a path into a dark void.
" Actions such as these would be no easy feat young prince" she would tell him revealing her razor-sharp fangs in her mouth as her eyes stare him down.
"That's why I came to you, after all, to ensure the task is completed" replied Mallus. Beatrice would chuckle towards him as she wouldn't seem impressed. Brave yes but still a fool just as the rest as greed is in human nature.
"You're going to be my partner in helping me rule these lands, and in return, I'll return what was taken from you so long ago" explained Mallus.
Beatrice would become suddenly stunned for a moment. They have never allowed her such a role before or to even be considered a partner of the throne.
"If you should fail?" she questioned as Mallus would look unfazed as he strongly believed it was impossible.
"If I should fail, you shall be free to add me to your collection as well" he answered as he pulled out an enchanted key from his armor removing her shackles. As they dropped like heavy bricks to the ground Beatrice could begin to feel her powers slowly returning to her.
"It has been far too long" she would say as she turns around back into the room as the room suddenly gains power, lighting the entire room of light.
"Aren't you going to put on some clothing" questioned Mallus as he watched her walk around in the massive laboratory?
"One such as myself was never given such pointless items and so I do not require them" she answered as she revealed a chamber containing Malllus's father. Mallus wouldn't feel fazed by Beatrice as he knew exactly what she was trying to do to do.
"Sorry but unlike my father, I am no fool to the throne, that was their own stupidity that ruined them and lead them to their deaths" explained Mallus. Beatrice would just smile upon his answer, as she continued walking around the lab.
"Now you're going to come with me so my servants my get your measurements so they may construct clothing for you as rulers of Jarel our armor and clothing is a symbol of our strength. and Once that is done it is time to get down to business overseer" demanded Mallus as he turns around exits Beatrice's chamber. Beatrice would look towards Mallus's father's chamber once more, "You should be so proud of your son, he has taken the same exact path as you all" she would say to herself as she begins to laugh as she feels herself growing in power each minute.
