How Adam and Eve were expelled from the Garden of Eden - the original sin.
In Judaism, the Garden of Eden tends to receive a different place in the theological mythos than beliefs such as Christianity or Islam. While the Hebrew name of the Garden of Eden is also used as the translation for the Christian heaven, the Jewish beliefs regarding the afterlife are quite different, and are mostly recalled in sources written after the Biblical texts and understood differently by different people. Some believe that the spirits of the righteous shall walk the Garden of Eden after their deaths, similar to various Christian or Islamic beliefs, and bask in spiritual joys for all eternity. Some, however, believe that the gates to the Garden of Eden are barred from Man to this day, and no mortal shall enter it again.
