P.S Luna means moon, and is another term for an Omega. It's used to describe an Omegas primal, inner being. When an Omega speaks of their "Luna" they're basically talking about their primal being. Same as when an Alpha refers to their "Alpha". They're speaking about the primal being inside of them.
When an Alpha refers to an Omega as "his Luna" he's saying this is "my Omega. My mate." But it's deeper than just saying we're together. Hiro is literally saying that Asami is the moon to his inner wolf. He's proclaiming that their connection is primal. Deeper than just "I like you/I love you." TLDR: Hiro is reaffirming that Asami is his fated mate.
P.P.S In my Omegaverse novel Heart to Heart (It's completed here on Tapas), there's a few good examples of this "inner being" versus "outer being" dichotomy. Feel free to check it out so you can see what I mean in more depth.
Asami Hasegawa, a 32 year old omega and confirmed bachelor, has just found out his life long best friend, and crush, is getting married. As Asami struggles with the realization of lost love, a new challenge awaits in the form of a young, naive, alpha named Hiro.
