The Evolution of the Dog

The myriad of dogs that exist in modern society all originated from one common ancestor: the wolf.
Nowadays, the wolf’s descendants tend to be slightly less fearsome than their majestic ancestors. In fact, judging some of the dogs I see in my local park, I’m pretty sure a lot of wolves have their heads in their paws wondering where their PR as a fearsome predator went off the rails.
