A week in, and just like Nagomi had thought, being with Haruto was really tiresome and exhausting. Haruto had a lot of energy and somehow Nagomi ended up going along his pace, unknowingly.
Sometimes he was so annoyingly energetic and chirpy that always made Nagomi wonder the same thing, every time they met.
"How could a person be this carefree?"
Maybe he was just that type of person, who will eventually have a big impact on one life. Because the more Nagomi tried to push, the more Haruto pulled in. He was a really influential person that no matter how cooped up one is, he would easily find a way in.
Haruto was the type of person who would make you go along his pace and make you all happy and giddy inside or just maybe Nagomi really needed someone.
But the fact that Haruto knowingly or unknowingly made a way through Nagomis' heart remained unchanged.
He opened up more that he ever thought would be able to. But it was nice to have someone to be able to talk to. Slowly but surely the wall he built was being broken down.
"Am I really playing along, his antics? How stupid can I be?" For the first time, his thoughts of disappearing from the world were replaced by something else.

"Hey, what are you doing alone? Come play with us." A boy held his hand out to reach another one.
The latter was confused as this was the first time someone ever reached out to him. He had no friends nor had anyone he could say he was close to. So without even knowing, his hand had already reached to the other.
The time went on as both of them became close and eventually the boy asked Nagomi to go out with him and to be his.
Ofcourse, how could Nagomi refuse when he also felt the same towards the boy.
He was ecstatic and wanted nothing else. It felt like he was complete and got a purpose for his life.
Both of them were really happy to be with each other but whenever Nagomi tried to talk with someone else his boyfriend would intervene.
Thinking he was the jealous type Nagomi ignored it and only gave his time to the boy.
Just when he thought everything was going well the things went downhill.
"Hey are you really friends with Nagomi? He seems so gloomy and won't even respond when we call him." One of his classmates asked Aito Suzuki the one that befriended Nagomi.
"What gross things are you blabbering about? Do you think I will really be friends with someone as dull as him? He is the one always following me around." Aito said with an annoyed tone.
"He follows you around? Is he interested in you? Does that mean he is gay? Ew." One of the boys nudged, Aito.
"If he follows you doesn't that mean you are also the same." Another one added in a teasing manner, without having the knowledge that a certain someone is hearing them.
But their opinion didn't matter as long as Aito didn't think the same.
"The hell dude, that's gross. Don't talk bullshit!! He is the one that follows me okay?! I would be happy to get rid of him." Aito slammed the desk, startling the others.
While the other stayed silent the door suddenly opened revealing Nagomi with a broken expression in his face and soon after that he ran away.
From that day onwards the rumors of him being gay and even going out with the other guys on the motel was spreaded.
And the one who did was the one who he called his friend. Nagomi honestly didn't know what he did wrong but since then all he got was trashed out by others and even got sexually assaulted by some.
From then he closed every possible door to his heart and started to build a wall.
"You understand right why I did this? You understand I am not disgusting like you right? You know you deserve this right?" A hand tried to reach him as it forcefully undressed him and-
*gasp*
Nagomi woke up, covered up in sweat, panting as he reached out for his phone. It was 4 am.
"It's just a dream. It passed a long ago, it's okay."
He repeated those words like a chant, over and over again but the thumping of his heart didn't slow down, it just got worse and worse to the point he found himself gasping for air. Just when Nogami was going to succumb to his depressed self, his phone glowed, hinting a notification.
It was a message from Haruto. "So early, why is he messaging me?"
He shakily tapped the phone and opened the text, he just needed a divergence and anything would do at this point.
"Sorry Sato-san, you are probably asleep but I couldn't sleep so I texted you. And I am coming a little earlier. I miss you a little. Sleep well." -Bright manager.
Strangely enough, his once pressed eyesbrows relaxed and his liped etched upwards, forming remotely what one would call a smile.
"You really are something." Nagomi mumbled.
Don't be so nice to me, I expect things easily. He pondered before giving himself to drowsiness.
