Hi!
First off, thank you for reading the prologue!
This has been a little passion project and I'm really excited to share it with you all!
I apologise to anyone following my other comic, "The Long Way Home".
Currently, I have no intention of continuing on with that series.
To anyone new, welcome!
TIKI is a passion project that I've been working on for nearly a year now.
It's not finished and its not perfect, but I've had these characters for a while and I've been itching to make their story.
Filipino folklore is a big part of my life, and has shaped my interests growing up. I've always wanted to read a comic about a morally grey queer aswang, so why not make it myself?
Aswang are often portrayed as the villains, so I wanted to give a little spin with this narrative. I am by no means an expert on pinoy folklore, so I'm always open to anyone sharing their favourite stories!

"TIKI", a graphic novel series inspired by Filipino folklore.
Created by lala.
Detective Callisto Silva has been on leave for months and has now been cleared for duty.
Now that she's back, she's immediately been called to a crime scene. A gruesome one at that.
Follow the detective as she investigates a series of murders that leads her deeper and deeper into the supernatural underbelly of her city.
DISCLAIMER:
The characters within this story are a product of my own interpretations and imagination.
I do not claim to know everything about Filipino folklore, only what I know and have been taught/ researched.
The characters are all modern variations of the lore I know.
