Boss 2: Revenant Zeti 

Objective: Defeat the Former Members of the Deadly Six.

Amy/Cream:   It’s the Deadly ...Trio!? (They both yelled in unison confused.)

Amy: Hold on it’s just Zeena, Zor, and Zazz! How did you guys get here and where is the rest of your team?! (Amy demanded the Zeti, pointing her hammer right at them.) 

Zeena: It’s none of your business, but long story short dear old Zavy and we went our separate ways, we no longer work for that bastard. (Zeena stated contentedly.) 

 Zazz:  We’re fighting for a new cause now, you can call us Revenant Zeti! We’ll be the ones who will destroy your pathetic world HAHAHAHAHA!! (Zazz maniacally laughed.) 

Zor:  We found our own escape from that hexagonal prison, and all I want is to end you Mobians’ so-called happily ever after, permanently. (Zor said with such envy in his voice.) 

Sticks:  Wait Wait Wait, you know these demons?! (Sticks screamed alarmingly.) 

Cream:  They were a group of Zeti that  Mr. Sonic and Mr. Tails fought years ago. They stole energy from the planet and nearly froze it over. They used to be called the Deadly Six, but it seems like they split off. (Cream explained.) 

Sticks: I was probably hibernating in my burrow to notice that. Alright you demons, what the hell do you want with us?! (Sticks demanded the Zeti as well.) 

Zeena: Aw, isn’t that precious the badger doesn’t have a single clue. We have big plans for this joint and we’re seeking suitable assets for it, and you seem like the perfect fit. We saw what you did on that island and you have so much potential in you, despite your atrocious clothing. So we’re here to take you with us, you Village Rat. (Zeena gladly replied, filing her nails while doing so.) 

Sticks grits her teeth, ready to strike back at that moment, however, Amy goes in front of Sticks, with Cream following suit. 

Amy:  Whatever you Zeti have planned for Sticks, you can call it off now! We won’t let you get anywhere near her, so run away before I break you in half! (Amy intensely glaring at Zeena and the rest of the Zeti ready to fight; with her voice being deeper than usual.)

Cream:  I don’t want this to end in a fight, but I will do what it takes to protect our friend! (Cream holding her cannon tightly, glaring at them as well.) 

Cheese: CHAO CHAO! (Cheese glowing up with energy all around their antennas, wings, and stomach; ready to support Team Rose.)

 Zeena: (Sigh) It’s a shame really, after all this time I was looking forward to seeing that handsome rebel Sonic again. But all I'm stuck with is his crazy roided ex and her annoying little sister. (Zeena said disappointedly, she finished filing her nails and they were as sharp as knives.)  Zor and I’ll deal with the two other fashion disasters, Zazz I know you were dying to fight the badger all day, so she’s yours. (Zeena told her team.) 

Zazz:  Hahaha As you wish boss, I’ll make that shorty roadkill! (Zazz gleefully stated while forcibly cracking every bone in his.)  

Zor: (Sigh) Another pointless conflict is about to begin, and remember guys you can beat these mobians into a bloody pulp, but try not to kill them. Their suffering is too enjoyable to end right away. (Zor reminded the other Zeti while dropping the rose in his hand.)

Amy turns to Sticks for a brief moment. 

Amy: Cream and I can handle the 3 of them, you should run so they won’t catch you. (Amy told Sticks concerned for her.)

Sticks: Are you kidding, like you said friends should support each other! If you’re fighting these sky demons to protect me, I should be doing the same! Besides, I hunted more threatening monsters before I’ll be fine! (Sticks proclaimed to Amy)

Amy: Heh, alright. Team Rose, let's show them what we can do!  (Amy cheered, now assured that Sticks can handle herself.)

The Zeti swiftly leaped from the trees and landed in front of Team Rose. Without even a second’s notice, Zazz and Zor dashed forward to intercept Sticks, Cream, and Cheese. Cream and Cheese blasted up in the sky, with Cream activating her Rocket Boots. Zor made sure to follow flying towards the bunny pair. Sticks going on the defensive anticipated Zazz’s claw strikes and dodged accordingly. Each dodge made Zazz more and more unhinged.  Amy and Zeena stared down at each other with death glares. 

Zeena opened her palm widely, dark green lighting appeared from it. Dropping that lightning summoned a large mace, the top looking like a dark metallic snowman head. Amy puts her hammer behind her shoulders, while Zeena starts to spin the mace quickly around her side. Amy sprints down with a mighty strike to Zeena. Zeena leaps backward and swings her mace right at Amy's face. Amy was luckily able to swerve herself in the opposite direction, however, it was too close for comfort. Amy immediately charges right back to Zeena with full force. 

Meanwhile Cream continues to jet away as Zor creeps up behind her. Cream activates her arm cannon and fires off orange energy shots at Zor. Zor uses his dark magic to make shadow clones that take the blast for him. Zor, while containing dark magic in his hands, travels closer to Cream. Cheese immediately tackles Zor to protect Cream. Cheese uses one of their Wisp abilities: Musical Flurry to unleash a bunch of magenta music notes to obscure Zor’s vision. (The TSR powerup for the Rhythm Wisp.) That distraction allowed Cream to blast Zor directly.  

Zor: Ugh no fair, this fight would’ve so been easy; I miss our electromagnetic abilities in times like these. (Zor seemingly drained from the blast whined.) 

Cream and Cheese were confused to hear that from Zor. Their strategy was to keep a distance so the Zeti wouldn’t control her dress. 

Cream: You miss it? What do you mean by that? And why say it out loud? (Cream paused to question.)

Suddenly a shadow clone appeared from behind and tackled Cream’s back painfully. As Cream was dazed trying to recover, Zor let out a wicked grin.

Zor: To make your defeat all the more soul-crushing. (Zor maniacally whispered.)

During all of this Sticks continues to dodge Zazz strikes, angering the Zeti. 

Zazz: UGH!! COME ON!! You’re supposed to have so much power in you! Stop being a coward and FACE ME!!! (Zazz growled at Sticks.)

Sticks: I’ve spent years hunting down wild beasts like you! I’m not a coward, you’re just very easy to predict! (Sticks mocked Zazz while continuing to dodge.)

This comment made Zazz even more furious and he attempted to skewer Sticks with his horns. Sticks grinned, quickly dodge the head bash from Zazz, and landed a clean spear slice on him. Sticks sprints around swiftly and lands multiple slices. While Zazz was recovering from the strikes, Sticks used a seed in her pocket and put it on her boomerang. Sticks promptly swings the boomerang, curving around Zazz multiple times. Trapping him in the vines that grew out of the seeds. However, before Sticks could even check on the Zeti, Zazz broke out of the vine trap. Zazz pumped as ever sadistically licked his face, ready to fight another round. Sticks holds up her spear to fight once again.

Sticks: This guy’s sick, I like it! (Sticks surprisingly remarked.) 

Returning to Amy’s fight with Zeena, the leading girls are about even with each other. Both dodging and attacking at a similar pace. Amy gets an opening and slams her hammer right at Zeena’s upper shoulder, causing Zeena to slide across the ground. Zeena slowly gets up to recover from the critical blow.

Amy:  Not bad for someone as cute and strong as me, right! (Amy snarked to Zeena while holding her hammer one-handed.) 

Zeena notices all the dirt and grime on her delicate skin and hair, the chips and cracks on her beautiful nails, and the blood and sweat on her pretty face. Zeena goes into a monstrous outrage. 

 Zeena: THAT WILL COST YOU YOUR HEAD!! (Zeena roared at Amy.) 

Zeena summoned dozens of large black icicles using some form of dark magic. Zeena telepathically swung these icicles all over Amy at hyper-speed. Amy attempts to dodge and block them as hastily as she can. A lot of the icicles nearly cut off Amy’s spines and gash her skin. Zeena watches Amy struggle with the most diabolical grin. Amy looks over her friends’ fights to see they’re in a similar stalemate. Cream and Zor are flying and blasting each other with energy, while Sticks and Zazz are in their head-to-head brawl. Amy thinks to herself quickly and revised a strategy while dodging.

Amy: Guys! Retreat into the forest far away from the Zeti! (Amy commanded Cream and Sticks.) (Using a communicator on her gloves to talk to Cream from her distance.)

Cream and Cheese following Amy’s command jets away at max thrusters, easily evading Zor. Cream after flying to where Zazz is and lets down her hands to pick up Sticks. Cream and Sticks flies off deep into the forest. 

Zeena: Don’t let these rats escape, hunt them down if you have to! (Zeena commanded the other Zeti.)

Zeena while yelling at the other Zeti stopped the icicle storm she was creating. Amy swiftly punched Zeena right in the face, giving her time to run away into the forest as well. Zeena nearly lost it after that attack. Amy was able to catch up with the rest of Team Rose hiding behind trees. They can hear Zeti taunts from where they were standing. 

Zeena: I honestly don’t care what the others think! I want those Mobians turned into fabric once I get my hands on them! (Zeena furiously hollered)

Zor: Calm down Zeena, those fools will come out soon enough. Especially if we hurt their animal friends. (Zor remarked.) 

Zazz: You hear that! You girls have 5 minutes before we make every creature here extinct! (Zazz warned.) 

The whole team was frustrated by their current predicament.

Sticks: Damn it! These demons are tougher than they look! (Sticks ranted.) 

Cream: Those 3 have gotten more powerful and have new abilities under their belt. We underestimated them. (Cream reflected.) 

Cheese: Chao….. (Cheese sighed with the rest of them.) 

Amy:  I’d say right now we’re about on par with them. But we don’t know if they have any more surprises up their sleeves. If we fight with no restraints I’m sure we would win, but I don’t want to wreck Sticks’ home doing so. (Amy analyzed.) 

Sticks:  How about we set up an elaborate trap, similar to how I did in Star-Sign. We bait the demons back into an open space and capture them. At least that’s how I catch all my big prey. You and the fun purple demon broke out of my vines in an instant. We have to tire them out first so they won’t escape. (Sticks suggested.) 

Amy: That’s a great idea! 

Cream: Miss Amy and I could focus our attacks to wear the Zeti down. Cheese can distract them to buy us time. If we plan this right this may work. (Cream offered.)

Amy: All it needs is a finishing touch. Cream do you still have that Chaos Emerald on you? 

A couple of minutes pass and the Zeti’s patience are about to expire. Zazz is ready to attack anything he sees. But then they overhear jet fuel burning and a certain Chao. 

Cream:  Hey, Revenant Zeti over here! (Cream called out.)

Cheese: Chao Chao Chao! (Cheese followed.) 

The Zeti immediately dash to the rabbit pair, reaching back to Team Rose’s campfire site. The Zeti appear to have Cream and Cheese in a corner. 

Zeena: Really, it’s just the kid and that disgusting Chao. (Sigh) At least we can use her to drag out Amy and the Badger. (Zeena groaned.) 

Zor: Before that, how about we beat the optimism out of her. That will actually be fun. (Zor scoffed.) 

Zazz: Don’t worry, we can send you back to your mom after. In pieces ...HAHAHA! (Zazz sadistically taunted Cream.) 

Cream: I don’t think so! Cheese Now! (Cream called to Cheese immediately covering her ears.) 

Cheese:   ♫CHAAAAAAAAAAOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!♫ 

Cheese let out a screeching Musical Cry that made the surrounding surface start to shake. This screeching greatly pained the Zeti, completely immobilizing them. 

Zeena/Zor: AAAAAHUGHHH!! (In unison screaming from the pain.) 

Zazz: This is almost as bad as the conch! MAKE IT STOP!! (Zazz howled.) 

Cream:  I’m sorry this is painful. It’s only for a few seconds, I promise. (Cream apologetically explained while her ears are still covered.)

Cheese stops the cry and goes beside Cream. The Zeti, still disoriented, tries to end Cream on the spot. Suddenly Amy and Sticks leap from the depths of the forest. Amy swings her hammer back with great force, she had an intense look in her eyes.

Amy: Heart Tornado! 

Amy swiftly striking her hammer in mid-air created a miniature tornado directly at the Zeti. The gust sucked all of them inside of it, and they spun around rapidly. Sticks throw her boomerang in the middle of the storm, placing a vine on it to continue the plan. The boomerang followed the current of the tornado and spun around the Zeti, trying to trap them in the vines. The Zeti began to recompose themselves. Zeena takes notice of what they are doing and scoffs.

Zeena: What a waste, we can still dodge your vines from here. And even if we do get trapped, we can just escape it. 

Amy: Oh, I thought of that. (Amy snarked while throwing and catching Cream’s Emerald.)

The Zeti immediately noticed the Chaos Emerald in Amy’s hands. They became visibly worried.

Zor: No, their Emerald. Escape now.

Amy: Too late! CHAOS CONTROL! 

A flash of yellow light appeared from Amy’s palm. Amy used the time-stopping ability of the Emerald to freeze the Zeti right in place. However, Sticks, Cream, and Cheese can move freely in this Chaos Control State. 

Amy: Cream, let’s finish this! (Amy commanded.) 

Cream: Okay! 

Cream jets off to the frozen tornado. At multiple points, she fires energy shots at it. Because of Chaos Control, the shots stay in the place where Cream shoots them. After firing more than a dozen of them, Cream flies down to the rest of Team Rose. After a few seconds, Chaos Control wears off. While time begins to restore itself, the Zeti face the entire barrage of Team Rose almost instantly. Cream’s blast strikes them directly from all directions, the tornado disorients them to the point of nearly puking, and the vines swiftly tie them all together. Once the tornado disappears, Revenant Zeti hits the ground hard, completely drained of energy and unable to fight.
