Lin, a thirty-something woman seemingly on the run from something or someone finds a door to a pub between worlds - just when she needs it. ‘The Broken Windlass’ pub is a magical place where realms overlap, everyone is welcome, the beer is reasonably priced and you can even get a half decent panini.

Here she meets the staff: Landlord Evan, manager Gregoria, buyer Canmore and server Cassie. She find herself a job, friends, a home, and possibly more.
