The Assassin now with the Reaper in his control sets out on his own mission. Needing the Reapers help for something, however refusing to explain his reasons time and time again. And so Shi has no choice but to go along with it, and just hopes that she will be freed after she helps this Demon out.

Under The Mask is a fantasy world full of magical creatures, It follows a living weapon created with a magical book, Her name is Shi. The last of her kind, The Reapers. Shi was created by the king of demons as a Weapon of war and to gain his power of the throne.
The Demons are dark beasts that disguise themselves as humans to hide their true forms, Being cursed to bare the form of a monster, with the appetite for blood and flesh to match.
Shi is in a never-ending battle for her life and freedom as the demons and their king threaten to take it from her.
Throughout her journey she would meet many friends and foes along the way, Learning more about the magical world around her. And about herself and her kind as well. As she had never known another Reaper, only hearing stories as they had died out hundreds of years ago.
The mission becomes for Shi and her friends to take down the evil king of demons, on a quest to shed light on his darkest secrets he keeps hidden behind his castle doors. Though before she can do this she must first learn about herself, and what she is truly capable of as a Reaper.
