She is definitely all that I might need to live.
But she is not how I thought she would be.
ch-2 Nina Taneja
It has been a few weeks since that day. I have not encountered any such bizarre things yet. Although I can’t accurately prove that it was real or just my delusion till today but there were some special changes that I noticed in my body.
My body had become more toned and my muscles and abs got really defined.
My speed was maximized to a certain level that I could run faster than a train at 120km/h.
My strength level was significantly increased. Heavy lifting became a piece of cake. Max weight that I could lift was a loaded truck.
My intelligence and problem-solving capabilities increased to a high level. Even math became easy for me. That sure was a matter of consideration for believing in these eccentric powers.
It felt as if only a droplet of what my physical and mental power was, was being used in my daily routine including basketball, swimming, art club activities, school, studies, daily chores, two-time workouts, and homework. No matter what I did, I didn’t feel tired anymore.
My body had become extraordinary.
However, my sleep cycle was normal. My height had seemingly increased to 5’8 inches from 5’7 inches. All of my five senses were unchanged, as usual.
Fazed? I was too and still am.
An unexpected, abnormal but cool upgrade in one’s physical and mental abilities within weeks could surprise anyone.
The only thing that bothered me was the big Swastika tattoo on my right arm and the small one on my left neck. It made me look like a gangster or an intimidating person, not to ignore the fact that my looks are rather dominating boyish type than a sweet girl. But strangely and fortunately only I could see it… or maybe someone other could too.
..........................
Nina Taneja.
She was all but how she looked like. She was about 4’9 or 5’0 inches. Her long salmon-colored hair was always tied in two pigtails; her face was like a doll. Also, she was quite adorable with small hands and legs, an average bust… (I should stop=-=) She had fair and smooth skin, rosy lips, big shining dark green eyes, and a lovable cute voice of a girly girl.
“She was a perfect transfer student who was straight-up adorable at first sight” if I might say.
Not only that, she was loaded rich since her father was a CEO of a big and famous game company, “Loco”.
But… why would I be bothered by her? Well… that’s because I bothered to pick up her game character figurine from the ground and give it back to her.
The end of the first day of my second year at school, that led me to a wild cat like her.
Uhm yes…
She was embarrassed by the fact that she was carrying a figurine with her in the first place, and then clearly disowned it in front of everyone and ran away towards her car.
However, that was not it.
She hunted me the next day. She entered my classroom, handcuffed my right hand with her left, and took me to the backyard downstairs. I could have stopped but weirdly, I didn’t.
She was too cute to stop.
……….
I was caught off guard when she suddenly pushed me to the wall with all her might while grunting. She pulled out a real folding knife from a toy knife sheath and pointed it towards me.
Was she kidding? who brings a sharp knife to school? That was a total scam by her appearance!
Stretching her hands towards my neck, she asked me to apologize to her for humiliating her and make her insult her figurine, which she addressed as “Pico Chan”.
“Little by size but a bomb with her actions” that’s how she was.
To put it in short- an offensive porcupine.
With a weapon pointing towards me, I got serious and took the help of my enhanced abilities to free myself.
She was nonchalant about the whole move and asked me to quietly return her figurine with an apology.
I was a little bothered with her reaction but I didn't want to get stung by that, “porcupine” at that point, so, I patiently complied with her.
After that day, she followed me everywhere at school---During lunch, P.E., assemblies, and dispersal.
It was annoying and hard to ignore her. So, I confronted her about it. She hesitantly refused the allegation and instead, blamed me for following her. I laughed, looking at her embarrassed face while stuttering the white lie, and asked her to eat lunch with me. She jumped up and said, “I never followed you, is that clear? I can’t follow anyone, I am Nina Taneja”.
“Yeah right.” I chuckled.
“Why are you still laughing?” she exclaimed as she pouted her mouth.
I walked towards the shed to have my lunch and she followed me, still stuck on that question. Saw that? she was so cute. Just a little bit twisted though. (`u`!)
Even though I have been the type of person to always live my own life, not concerning myself with others. I wanted to know the feeling of a healthy friendship just once in my lifetime.
And that was how we became friends.
The first person I could call a friend was Nina Taneja. I finally got the person who ended my years of loneliness and filled the hole of the void inside me.
She was the one, Nina Taneja.
And as to why she was indifferent towards my abilities and could see the swastika on my body too? I had yet to ask her about that.
But for then, I wanted to enjoy the little moments with that little cute porcupine.
End of the second chapter.
