6 YEARS AGO (3rd person)

It was a cold humid day. Alyssa was fifteen and her friend fourteen. The two of them and Alyssa's father were about to leave for a day in the woods. Right as they were about to leave, they neighbors asked of their daughter, Daisy, could tag along, and while Alyssa told her father that she didn't want Daisy on the trip, and her father well knew how much Alyssa hated Daisy, he thought she should learn to bear with people she doesn't like and he allowed her on the trip.

They arrived at the camp spot. There were already logs to sit on and a pile of ash where other's had lit their campfires. The atmosphere was really moist and wet. The three girls waited in the car while her father checked for any animals, snakes and so on.

Then he lit the campfire because it was getting dark and the girls each sat on logs. Daisy on one and Alyssa and her friend Kathy, chatted on on the other. Al's father left to go park the car somewhere where it wouldn't block the road and he told them to give him a call if anything happened.

The moment he left, Al took out a packet of weed and she as well as Kat got high, Kat not much though because she really wasn't into it. They just chatted and threw twigs into the fire. One of the twigs flew over the fire and fell onto the ground next to Daisy.

Daisy wore a long white dress and the stick lit it on fire. Al and Kat didn't notice because the fire obstructed their view of Daisy. But it wasn't long before her dress was burning too fast to extinguish easily. Kat noticed and quickly went to Daisy and tried to kill the fire. She stomped it, used her hoodie. She shouted out to Al but she was too high to care. She just sat there and laughed.

Kathy screamed in terror as her dad came back and he was not having it. Daisy had passed out, but the four of them didn't know she was still alive. Al's father, Dave, panicked. He quickly dug out a hole and buried Daisy and covered it. He didn't want anyone to find out. He didn't want to get in trouble. He lit himself a cig and tried to process what was happening. He grabbed Al and dragged her to the car and Kat followed. He raced to Kat's house dropped her off then back home.

He stormed off into the shower and Al went to her room to shower herself.

Daisy's perspective (3rd person)

Daisy suddenly woke up, and she was suffocating. Her skin was burnt and was too painful to bear. She tried to scream. Her ears and nose were filled with dirt. The weight of the ground above her crushed her body. She just lay there, struggling, slowly suffocating to death.
