"Sato-san, wake up. You have an interview today at 11 and it's already 7:30. We have to get ready and go to the company first."
Haruto shouted in Nagomi's ear, being the only resort left to wake up the latter.
"Aish, why did I even give you my passcode?" Nagomi grumbled as he groggily staggered towards the bathroom while Haruto gave him a sheepish smile.
After a lot of nagging and begging, they finally made it to the ST media, for Nagomi's interview.
"What is your inspiration for making music?" The interviewer asked Nagomi the question, a question which he has been hearing since the start of his debut.
Honestly, he didn't understand what did they like so much about his songs when they are not even as close to what he wants to write.
"It would not be right to call it as an inspiration but you can say I write what I want to express, the feelings that I felt at that time." And he really did feel them... he never felt the need to find the words as they came to him naturally.
It just flowed to him like a stream flowing on the plain and he poured them into the sheets as they came. So everytime someone asked him this question, this was the best he could answer.
Soon the interview was done and Haruto was driving Nagomi back to his apartment. He seemed restless for some reason. When he looked at the fidgeting and anxious Haruto, it ticked him off so he finally decided to ask him.
"Are you constipated?"
Haruto seemed to be taken aback for a while but soon gained his composure.
"Huh? No." Haruto replied. Nagomi wasn't convinced but didn't give much thought to it either. Soon they arrived at Nagomis' apartment.
"Thanks for the ride, get home safe." Nagomi said, unbuckling his seatbelt.
"Sure, no prob. It's my job anyways." Haruto beamed.
Seriously when does he not smile? Nagomi stared at Haruto for a while before getting out. Just when he was going to close the door Haruto called out.
"Sato-san, Uh... I know this is kinda sudden but can I sleep over at yours tonight. Please." Haruto pleaded with a nervous expression.
This was the first time Nagomi saw him nervous and without his knowing he had already agreed to Haruto's request. It was only when they entered his apartment it hit Nagomi, just what he had agreed to.
'Haruto is dangerous. Always making me walk along his flow.' Nagomi gave an annoyed look to Haruto while the latter replied with an unsure awkward smile.
"So if you wanna take a shower then go first." Nagomi said, putting off his coat on the hanger.
"Uh no it's okay. I didn't bring my clothes."
"You can use mine, afterall we somehow have the same physique." Nagomi handed his pjs to him.
After shower, both of them sat on the floor relaxing a bit. Then suddenly Haruto took out a bag of beer cans and started to nag Nagomi for drinking.
"Sato-san, come on. Let your guard down a bit. Don't be stingy and let's drink." Haruto pouted and Nagomi could barely suppress his smile.
After a session of convincing and begging, Nagomi finally agreed. After a few drinks and getting tipsy, Haruto tried to interrogate Nagomi. It was his plan from the get go after all.
"You know. You can answer the questions really well. You really say what others want to hear and draw them towards you." Haruto rested his head on the hand, tilting his a bit with a whipped smile on his face.
"No. It's just what you guys think. And most of the questions asked by others are the same. So I at least know what to say, after all the experiences." Nagomi said, chugging down the beer.
"But why did you want to sleepover today? Not that I mind." Nagomi inquired, raising his eyebrows.
"Aww what is this? Our shy senpai is taking an interest in me?" Haruto clapped his hands with excitement and Nagomi swore he could see Hauto's imaginary puppy ears and wagging tail.
"Nah just a bit curious."
"Aww I was excited for nothing. But seeing you in the interview today, made me feel like there are a lot of things I don't know about you and that made me kinda lonely. So I wanted to know more about you."
Haruto said, laying his head on the table, so his right cheek was on the surface and he was facing the open window. A soft blow of caressed his cheeks as his hair fluttered along.
Flustered at the honesty of Haruto, Nagomi tried to cover up his embarassement. "You really are cheeky huh? Telling that you felt lonely just because you don't know me better." Nagomi shook his head with a grin.
"That's because you are so adorable." Haruto slurred as he was totally wasted at this point.
"Ya- how can you-" Nagomi blushed while trying to retort but soon cut him off as he saw peacefully sleeping Haruto. He sighed and smiled at the sleeping boy.
"You really do unexpected things. You know you are a good person, unlike me and unlike him." Nagomi said patting sleeping Haruto's head with a new-found smile on his face.
Maybe falling for Haruto wasn't as hard as he thought it would be.
