‘When I was making these early strips about five years ago at this point. I was experimenting with the look and feel i wanted. At the same time I was doing a lot of freelance work with vector art in Adobe illustrator. Because of this I got the maybe not so good idea to ink the strip in vector form. At the time I loved the crisp, smooth black lines. I also played with a monochromatic look and textured backgrounds. Not the best choice in hindsight; but it continued for a handful of strips before I abandoned it for a more traditional look.’
