Rainy Day Dreams is a queer-friendly, character-driven story about relationships, monsters, and defeating evil with kindness (and also sometimes swords cuz swords are cool).
Parallel to Earth a nameless world lurks: a dark inversion, home to monsters, connected only by fleeting rifts in space and time. Tristin, a plucky teen, finds herself trapped in this land of monsters after a treasure hunt gone wrong. Unable to return home, Tristin enters the care of Mara — a grumpy recluse with strange powers and a stranger past. Between navigating monster culture, surviving masquerade balls, and untangling the malevolent motives of the mysterious Michael, the cards seem stacked against the pair as they try to make the best of a less than ideal situation.
