One of the strangest things that Crescent told me about were what they deemed “Doorways”. I never ran into one myself, and for that I am most grateful, for they seem to be quite a troublesome occurrence.

“Doorways” were places beyond two worlds – or perhaps most often, two different times. They were designed by the others, in order to allow them easier access however they desired.

Crescent had personally only entered through one “Doorway”, one that apparently bridged between our world and the one that they came from.

“Doorways” look like ornate doors, often with elaborate carvings to showcase what lied beyond.

“Doorways” are only truly meant to be used by the other for any other would find themselves rejected on the incorrect side.

Crescent most recently told me of a strange thought of theirs, a dream of something called a “Doorway”. It was meant to bridge between two different worlds or times. The idea of something like that is quite preposterous, but an interesting musing nonetheless. Perhaps, if one could create such a thing, they could see what originated –

Liam frowned over the pages. The words were obscured again and again, almost as though something was preventing the Professor from writing about the “Doorways”.
