“What's something mi amore?”

Maria flinched at the sudden outburst and was taken off guard with y’know Nicholas being her mate and all. 

“U-Um, N-Nothing” she stammered “Don’t worry about it”

Nicholas knew exactly that it wasn’t “nothing” but he just put it on his ‘To-do List’ like everything else just in case. 

“So about you fainting every 2 months” 

“Yeah, what about it?” -Maria answered like a moody teenager. 

That caused Nicholas to laugh and leaned in right next to her ear. Just enough so that she could feel his warm breath on her ear and neck and whispered 

“Watch your tone mi amore. You would hate for there to be consequences” 

Maria was shocked and upset that he thinks that he could just say that and make her submit to him. After all she is a baddie ain't no man gonna tell her what to do. Maria then turned around inches from his lips, looked him straight in the eyes and said

“Do your worst”
