"I think he wants to check out for himself is Dawn really the chosen one"

"There is no way to check it for sure, we need to wait untill powers emerge"

Adrian said as took of his shirt.

"This will hurt, so grab onto something"

Red head listened to his older brother as he piecred his skin with needle , injecting bluish liquid into his veins.

Burning sensation filled his body, tears forming in his emerald colored eyes. He sank his nails into his own thighs, causing them to bleed . Those few seconds felt like hours.

"All done" 

Zoran said as he threw needle in trash and took piece of cotton wool ball to clean his new wound.

"Is it just me or does this one hurt more ?" Adrian asked as he stood up

"I had to fix few things, it's stronger now" 

"Yeah i could tell"

"You know i had to do it"

"I know....it's just...im sick of this"

"Hey, as soon as Dawn's powers awake, we will use them to heal you"

"Wouldn't that only work if she gives them to you?"

"Not really,  those powers are so strong that anyone can use them to heal you"

Dawn smiled as she watched maids running around big hall , doing the last preparations for his arrival. 

She was wearing elegant long dark blue dress with thin silver straps across her back and silver heels.

"Cal really has good taste" Alan said as he stood next to Dawn.

"Yeah....i really like it" she smiled "uh..can i ask you something?"

"Ask away" ravnette answered

"Who is coming?"

"Our father"

"Oh....okay"

After around twenty minutes everyone was ready to greet head of the family.

Big doors opened revealing two elegant figures.

Tall, muscluar male with black hair and blue eyes , and next to him was tall,slim woman with blonde wavy hair and icey blue eyes.

While royal couple was talking to servants , Dawn tried to puzzle this family.

"I assume you are new here, right?"

Petite woman with pinkish skin tone and brown hair asked Dawn mockingly

"Yes, i arrived few days ago"

"And i assume you noticed how that boy stands out"

'Why is this woman assuimng so much' Dawn thought to herself

"To be honest, yes. Adrian is really unique" Dawn answered as she took a sip of champagne

"What a nice way to say that he isn't even Aldric"

"Wh..what?" she choughed

"Just look at him. Its obvious Irene cheated"

"Maybe he has some gene mutation? Or his grandparents-"

"Don't be dumb dear, our kind doesn't get gene mutations." lady rudely intterupted Dawn

She wanted to say something but Cal called her to meet their father.

In the distance she saw Adrian and Irene talking.

She shook her head smiling, to her it makes no difference.

"It's good to finally meet you " 

"Likewise" she smiled as they shook hands

Hours passed and Dawn noticed Adrian wasn't even near his father. She also noticed tension between Aldric couple and decided that she will ask Cal tommorow. For now she will try to cheer Adrian up.
