It's been two years since I last saw Levi, Farlan, and Isabel. The commander of the Survey Corps took those three assholes in and they were turned into soldiers. I had only known Levi and Farlan for about a month when this happened.
I miss all three of them. Especially Levi. I don’t know why, specifically him. It’s weird.
I walk of my one-room apartment that I call home.
This last year, I had resorted to stealing as a way of earning money. It’s a bit tedious but it's kept me alive for a year. I always have to use a disguise. What I have been using recently has been a blonde wig and sky blue eye contacts.
In today's little run, I earned about $100. I’m really proud of this. I started to smile, I felt insane for doing that.
Time skip to 6:03 P.M.
I was running on the roofs of the homes in the Underground. Everything was peaceful until…
“OI BRAT, I ORDER YOU TO STOP!! NOW!!”
That voice seemed familiar…
I looked back and saw that familiar face with a monotone expression.
LEVI?!?!
I fell to the ground, running into the nearest alleyway that I could find. I threw off my wig, throwing it to the ground. I then took my eye contacts off. I put them in their case and threw the case on top of the wig.
My black hair and red eyes are now visible.
I dropped to my knees in shock, putting my head in my hands. I could feel tears building up in my eyes.
Outside the alley, I heard three people landing on the ground.
“Hanji, Moblit, go retrieve the person.”
That HAD to be Levi, right?!
Two people came to me and grabbed my arms. I decided to cooperate. My eyes were letting warm, salty tears fall, now.
I was placed on the floor, still kneeling down. I kept my head down, fearing what they would do to me.
“OI BRAT!! Look at me, that’s an order.” Levi said to me.
I looked up and instantly saw the shock in his eyes. He dropped to his knees in front of me, lips twitching with confusion and what seemed to be amazement at what he was seeing.
“Akane? You’re actually alive??”
