Ok, journal. I’ve got good news and bad news. Which do you want first?

Since you’re an inanimate object that can’t talk to me, I’m gonna talk for you. And you’re saying you want the bad news first! Yay, bad news!

So the bad news is that Bailey got leeched. Like, ultra-leeched. I didn’t even know that ultra-leeches existed until it leeched Bailey. It was pretty wild to see. 

Oh, but Bailey’s fine! Well, not fine fine, but he’ll live. Probably. He just needs to regrow a lot of blood. The same can’t be said for the ultra-leech, though. We fried that sucka!

Narry tried to donate some blood to Bailey once it found out he needed some. We still don't know where it got all that blood. At this point, I kinda don’t want to know, either.

Oh, oh! But the good news! And there're two parts, so it's DOUBLE good news! The first is that I got a ton of leech to eat! And I say leech and not leeches ‘cause it’s all from the one ultra-leech. It’s super tasty!

The other good news is that I found a super rad new thing on the scavenger trip! Can you guess what I found? No, you can’t. You’re a book. So I’ll just tell you! I found a whole giant bag of marbles! The bag was silver and shiny and super cool, and when I opened it, there were marbles! So many super colorful marbles! I spent three hours sorting them by design and color before writing all this. They got all mixed up again when I put them back in the bag, but that’s alright! I’ll just sort them again tomorrow!
