Jungkook doesn’t want to wait any longer, so he carries a sleeping you in his arms to his car, driving straight to his apartment.
Namjoon said the baby has created a bond with Jungkook, and recognized Jungkook as its father - so there’s really no way out.
The baby didn’t want to leave. If the baby leaves, then you will leave too - and that is something that Jungkook doesn’t wish to happen.
“You’re such a brat.” Jungkook mutters, eyes fixed on your still flat belly. You’re sleeping soundly on his bed, oblivious of what’s happening around you.
Jungkook sighs. Now, what should he do? He knows for sure your body is not compatible with a vampire’s fetus, but the baby wanted to stay.
“You’re giving me the most terrible headache throughout my 600 years of living.” He groans, lightly poking your belly. “You’re lucky I kinda like you.”
He talks nonsense with the baby for a while before realizing it’s time for lunch. He should prepare something for you.
“She can’t drink blood directly, I believe she will throw up. So try to include a small amount of blood in her food. Let her know, though. I’m not responsible if she sulks or anything.” Namjoon had said before leaving the hospital.
But Jungkook doesn’t have blood stock … he’d usually drink it fresh. And he does not think he’d want to return to this apartment, in the middle of the day, with blood all over his face and shirt. That would freak you out. And draw attention from the public.
He sighs. He’ll have to wait until tonight, then. For now, he’ll just order some food for you.

When Jungkook returns to the room, you’re half awake, grinning sheepishly at him.
“Good morning, sir.”
“It’s already lunch time.” He flicks your forehead adoringly, earning a giggle from you. He wonders what makes you so cheerful.
“I had a dream. A nice dream.”
“Tell me about it.” He helps you up and you rest against the headboard, a smile still on your lips.
“I saw you carrying a baby girl. I think it’s a girl.” You caress your belly, and that’s when realization hits. “Jungkook, the baby-”
Jungkook holds your shoulders, gently squeezing them. “The baby is still here. With us.”
“Really? I thought-”
Jungkook hums, caressing your head. “She wanted to stay. I guess she loves her mama too much to leave.”
Tears spring to your eyes and you lunge into his arms. “There, there.” He whispers, placing a soft kiss on your head.
“I’m worried about you, Y/N. This is going to be a tough and long journey - pregnancy is just the beginning. Are you- are you willing to carry my baby girl?”
You chuckle. “I’m already doing it, sir.”
Jungkook hums. “Call me Jungkook. We’re not at work.”
Your head snaps to his direction and you lock eyes with him. “I- I don’t think that’s appropriate.”
“Well, then. Let me remind you, Miss Y/N. You have called me Jungkook or Jungkookie several times. You literally called me Jungkook two minutes ago. Let me also remind that you have asked for cuddles-”
You cover his mouth with your hands, cheeks red with embarrassment. “Okay. Okay. Jungkook.” His name rolls out perfectly, as if your tongue was made to say his name.
“Jungkook.” He repeats, nodding in approval.
“Oh, while we’re at it… I want to say something. Although the baby is a vampire, she’ll be known as a human.”
You hum. “I’m aware of that.”
“So later on, in her birth certificate, she will have our names as her parents.”
You nod and frown. “I know. What are you trying to say, Jungkook?”
Jungkook heaves a deep breath, trying to think of a proper way to tell you this piece of important news. He never knew it could be so difficult. Is that why guys are so nervous when they-
“Marry me.”
