I get outside the apartment block and take in the fresh air. I can see the pine trees swaying back and forth in the distance, the leaves dancing along the pavement near my feet. I can hear the birds chirping as I stroll towards the pine forest, the sturdy, old trees providing a sense of safety. I shift into my wolf form and lie down on the soft forest floor. Much better.
