My whole life had changed from one moment to the next, in just one second everything I loved was gone, giving way to despair. I, who always believed that God would win the Holy War, lost all faith when I realized that he ended up giving in to the clutches of evil, leaving all his creation to their fate.
After my father locked me in my room and forbade me to go out no matter what, I have never seen him again, I guess he is now nothing but a corpse lying around. At first, I cried a lot at the thought, but now I just think that the best thing that could have happened to him is to have died, so I wouldn't have to endure the disgusting world I'm living in anymore.
—Olivia —I didn't answer when I heard my name being called.
I knew that deep and perverse voice behind my door perfectly, which was nothing more than him trying to make me think he was human. The one who had finished off God himself and his entire entourage was there, trying to get me to come out so he could transform me into something similar to him.
—I know you are there, my dear. Come out at once —he said in a peaceful voice. —STUPID BITCH, OPEN THE DAMN DOOR! —he exclaimed in annoyance trying to open the door, causing me to take a few steps backward.
—Go away. —I whispered unconsciously sliding down the wall until I ended up sitting on the floor.
—Are you scared? —asked that damned being. —You don't have to be afraid, nothing bad will happen if you open the door. —He assured me with a touch of innocence in his voice, however, I just remained silent.—You know what? I'm leaving. —With that said, I listened as his heavy footsteps walked away.
Anyone would think that maybe it would be a good time to leave, but he wasn't that dumb and neither was I. I walked slowly to the door. I walked slowly to the door and stuck my ear to it, concentrating a little to listen to his breathing which wasn't too far away, he was still there, waiting for me to leave.
—"I knew it." —I thought as I looked at the clock in my room, which read eight in the morning. —With that thought in mind, I sat on my bed to wait for that crucial moment of the day in my life.
