The man's tie was thrown across the room as he struggled to walk. It was like he was drunk, or at least not in the right state of mind.
The two boys cowered in the corner of the room, hoping the man would collapse or pass out before he got to them. But there would be no such luck. He lunged towards them, pinning Kai to the ground and trying to rip off his clothes. The small boy let out a loud shriek, he kicked at the man, desperately trying to free himself.
Robin scrawled away quickly and watched this all unfold. He wished so desperately that he could save Kai, but he was not strong, he could't ever save him. Something in him snapped, he felt like his body was boiling, then he once again faded out of consciousness.
He was woken by Kai's voice calling out to him. Robin was panting above a bloodied man, his fist raised in the air ready to give him a punch. He rushed to get off the man to get to Kai. He held him tightly in his arms, softly caressing his back in a calming manner.
After a while of Kai sobbing into Robin's shoulder he spoke up. "What happpened to you?" Robin looked at him curiously. In all honesty, he didn't know what happened to him, he only knew that he hurt a man that deserved it. Of course, in order for Robin to not be surprised, a situation like this would've happened before, and it did.

'The man was trying to flee from the burning house, but I wouldn't let him get away. He killed an innocent woman. A mother.
After the children were safe I hunted the man down. He would die tonight, and there's nothing anyone can do to keep me from killing him.'
Then his mind went blank. There is something that takes control of him whenever he feels a large amount of burning hatred. It's like an instinct that knows he wants to keep people as safe as possible. whenever this side of him takes control he goes blank, there is no emotion evident in him, only the desperation to kill. He loses himself all together.

Robin couldn't explain it to him right now. He had to make sure that he and kai were safe from any danger that would come. He pushed Kai to get him under ther bed, the blanket would cover the bottom so they wouldn't be seen.
The sound of footsteps outside of the door made them hold their breaths. Then there was a voice. "In here!" It yelled. Then there was a loud crash as the door was kicked down. "Archer! Ace! I can sense them. They're in here!" Archer and Ace joined Luca in the room. They scanned the floor, eyes stopping on the body lying in a pile of blood. They could only hope that it wasn't one of the two boys.
Ace approached the body and rolled it over so he could see its face. He was shocked to see a white symbol that was glowing faintly on his forehead, but he quickly ignored it once he determined it wasn't Kai nor Robin. He decided it would be best to call for them. Hopefully they would recognise his voice. "Kai? Are you in here, Kai?" There was a small shuffling sound, but they didn't detect where it was coming from since the room was still dark.
It was Archers turn to call out now. "Robin, please come out. I need to know that you're alive." More shuffling. A pair of arms then snaked their way around Archer's waist from behind. "Thank goodness you're ok, I thought I lost you. I'm so sorry I couldn't protect you."
A tense voice broke up the litle moment of peace, "Hey, we should head out of here before people from outside start showing up." Luca said. Why he was here they didn't know, but they are very greatful he helped them.
The five were making their way out of the building, stepping over and around bodies on the floor. Archer and the other two must have faught to get here.
When they were out of the building, a few of their people waiting for them.
Where they would all go no one knew. The humans have discovered one of their biggest secrets, they will no doubt discover the others too.
Robin was raised as a peasant in the magical Opal Kingdom. He has jet-black hair like most of the peasant, but his eyes are pale and he lacks the ability to talk, this has resulted in him not having any friends (with Archer as an exception). He developed the powerful gift to detect the difference from each voice he hears. This has lead him to overhear terrible and frightening plans .
Archer was raised to be a skilled knight for the Opal Kingdom. He is tall with a solid build and dark brown hair. Archer was born with the ability to read peoples minds -a very useful power for a knight-. He developed a strong relationship with Robin after he realised Robin could communicate with him telepathically..
The people of Opal were forced to flee suddenly, after a human invasion on the kingdom. The king was slaughtered and many were taken hostage to be used for their power. Those who fled are hidden amongst the humans.
Robin has promised himself that he'll protect his people, and eventually (with the help of Archer) restore the kingdom to it's former glory.
