He simply observed. Asceticae advanced in comfortless silence, his shape radiating ruthlessness. He finally nullified his movements.
A glance, his hold on the staff increased, he exhaled unworriedly. "Huh? You were around?" He enquired, he plunged onto the surface, cross-legged.
His blood-desiring aura glimmered, he sat in the centre of the meeting room. Kaud merely smiled, a callous and cautious look engraved on his features.
"Solis Asceticae!" He announced, his mana leaking from his own form, molecules embedded themselves, surrounding Ryia and him. "My confidence was not baseless."
A giggle rushed out his mouth, his childish attitude stayed. "Soul? Diagnosis?" He asked, uncaring of the knights and nobles.
"A minute please...It appears Kaud is far more composed than predicted. His energy is enhancing, another person near, but that's a simple guess."
Asceticae flexed his finger, and flames encircled Kaud's particles. Standing, he raced forward, roaring excitedly at the rulers.
Then, his hand lowered, and a sword formed. He span his staff, and the blade separately. While he sprinted, his body was lifted by a transparent silhouette.
Elegance. The only feeling he obtained from the battler. Asceticae growled wordlessly. He was speedily slammed into the stairs, leading from the higher to lower platforms.
Uv's body became visible, a cruel, and barbaric curl on his lips. That second, was when Asceticae detected a lunacy he was always unmindful of, a grin on the weapon-wielder's face expressed his exuberance.
"Manipulating the molecules in the room, and getting everyone's sights blurred!" He shouted, deviating Uv's materialized mana bullets. "Physically utilizing your magic, and shaping it into anything you need!" He bellowed immaturely, his staff crashed on his enemy's abdomen.
Uv laughed boisterously, and responded grimly. "Scuin. You're late." His voice gained a calm edge.
"Compose yourselves." She sarcastically remarked. Following after the particles guiding her, and continued. "Uv, he's a child."
Soundlessly, Asceticae sped towards Unrevealed, thrusting the weapon professionally. "Scuin and Unrevealed!" He yelled excitedly.
Magma blocked his vision, he merely disregarded the move. His staff, he threw it upwards, and clasped his hands. "Soul. Mana. Reduction!" He ordered.
A barricade of energy was Soul's response. Uv's astral body dissipated almost imidiately, and Scuin's lava was whispered away.
Asceticae's head rose, his crimson iris whirling in an examining manner. He extended his arm, catching his weapon expectantly.
"The real game is starting now!"
Rogue rushed through the castle's passage-way, disregarding the unmoving guards. His previously charismatic radiance faded. The space ripped in his presence, he leaped across the distortion. Arriving, he stared.
Asceticae, Uv, and Scuin, they all stood still. Their perception of the earth clouded. Kaud and Ryia were the same. He silently walked over, observing them, he look at Asrial, who grasped a cup and he too, was immobile.
"What's happening?" He questioned, mostly to his own mind. He examined Uv's status. "Unrevealed's alive, his body is functioning like normal." He realized.
He made a choice, encompassing the room in energy, he exerted his unhealthy condition. "Dimensional: Unwitting Escape." He declared, the portal forced them out of their current spots.
Cleverly, he clapped his hands. Returning Vadras' vision, Uv and Scuin were surrounded by Kaud's particles, meaning space-based magic was incapable of working, and his Mana Currents state suggested any more, and he would die.
He sighed, damaged, multiple liquids drizzling from his body's speaker. "I'm always rescuing you both," He reminisced, a cynical glimmer entering his spheres. "Sorry, this is the only method to keep all of you safe."
Finally, he completed the spell. Uv fell through, Scuin came after him. Asceticae dropped, he glanced at Rogue monstrously.
The noble ignored his look. Noticing Vadras moving slightly, he grinned wickedly. Staring to the location his portal opened.
"My life is over." He determined, shutting his eyes, and allowed the rift to envelope him. "Asceticae, we're destined to meet in the underworld, especially after what occurred." He whispered, any emotions he showed, weakened.
Asceticae's staff rested. Sleeping uneasily.
"My companion...Survive this ordeal, and enhance your strength."
Vadras stood speedily. He examined the space around him. He walked forward, his irises observing the populace. He stuck his hand out, and emanated mana from them, he recalled his sight lessening. Calmly, he advanced to the seats. Kaud and Ryia were shrouded by molecules.
He span, leaving the couple in their unmoving condition. Currently he needed to learn what happened, and the reason why Rogue, Uv, dispelled their aura.
His main priority was to dissipate the effects of the technique from his companions, but there was no viable operation, or one available.
He relaxed his arms into his pockets. While Vadras continued, his footsteps clacking. The only sound he could hear. The capital was likely unaffected, and the palace was the single place encircled by this silencing spell.
Vadras, realizing the current issues, stopped. He started to comprehend the occurrences he was dealing with, and chillingly smiled, a controlled one.
His expression changed, apathy encompassing him. Vadras noticed something. A weapon slumbering. Removing his hands from his pockets, the child grabbed the staff, and a mental connection shaped.
"Hello?" Vadras asked, magically detecting a presence entering his fortitudes and blandly added. "Are you listening?" He repeated calmly.
"Greetings. Void."
Vadras sighed, uncaring of the nickname and enquired. "A staff with sentience?"
"Hah. I suppose. Now, I'm guessing you're seeking answers?"
He replied, composedness laced in his mental voice. "Currently, you appear like you're aware of what's going on around me."
"Of course, I developed the blur."
Vadras became noiseless. Silently, he settled the staff onto a chair, the mental link shattering. He simply advanced, a symbol embedded on his daggers.
Soundlessly, electricity gathered. Surrounding him, he distorted, and shaped near Flamma. He held out both his hands onto his comrade's arm. There was no answer, he remained unmoving.
"Removing me was foolish."
Vadras sighed uncaringly, and walked, he grasped the weapon, and asked. "Is this desirable?"
"Of course. The two of us are beneficial to dispel my magic."
"Consider yourself a container." He explained wisely. "Now your daggers were given a special ability."
The mage listened, he was required to repair the damage this voice made. "You're Asceticae's staff then, huh?"
"A good guess. We're companions."
"Name?" Vadras enquired apathetically, scrutinizing the noiselessness. "Unless, you and Asceticae never bothered."
"I grow exhausted communicating like this, you humans are such curious entities."
Vadras finally noticed his vicinity changing. The earth around him blurred again. Naturally, he collected aura, shooting and silently blaring his mana. A method to stay aware of his sector.
There was a shine, an indistinguishable silhouette rested. Their own crimson irises growling with strength. Soul gave a polite smile, hampering the need of questions.
Soul relaxed, their unidentifiable body settled. They observed Vadras, and noised. "Meeting with you like this was required, Void."
Vadras remained soundless, a second later, he sighed. "I suppose you and Asceticae are capable of this?" He guessed calmly.
"No. No," Soul replied, they sharply whispered. "What lengths would you go to regain something?"
"This conversation is different from when we started." The blue-haired child realized. "None." He mirthlessly answered. "I'd simply need to obtain something of more significance."
"A comrade...I'm unsure what distances I would go. Mere words cannot describe someone's compassion."
"Where is your compassion?" Soul questioned, a witting expression shaping. "I lost that years ago."
Vadras nodded, contemplating heavily. "My compassion? I simply need to learn."
"Kai. Rogue. Scuin. Uv." Soul's eyes shut and he continued. "Names necessary to memorize."
"Regardless. This was an interesting conversation, goodbye."
Vadras' vision was shrouded, and he awoke on a chair. The noble's roaring about the staff-wielder's arrival before they were stopped by Soul's hindrance.
Vadras' Experience.
I stared, and understood what occurred minutes ago. Standing, I walked over to the others. A humourless aura radiating from me. I simply waited.
Flamma sighed boringly, and readied himself to move, until he spotted me. "Vadras." He nonchalantly greeted. "Looks like I was sleeping." He estimated, a small exhaustion in his voice.
"Same," I blandly nodded, glancing at the lavish sofa, where Kloaked slumbered. "Wake him, now. I need to relay many words to both of you."
I was given a rambunctious grin, and a warmth enveloped the chair. "What now?" Kloaked mumbled, and seated himself on a cushion.
I apathetically explained, and sounded. "Asceticae, an enemy to the Spiritual Kingdom, was located and battled with Scuin and Unrevealed." Silently, I gestured towards the crowd in uproar, and affixed. "Meaning, we're merely considered children, and not mages."
This wasn't an issue. We could leave, I learned what was desired, and met a person which could alter the expectations of the war, and after we graduate. The kingdom would regard us with the same amiability they would with any mana-wielders.
"Asceticae?!" Flamma noisily mused, his confusion certain. "He was excitable, like Kloaked!" He grinned childishly.
"More like you."
Feriosio added, his nonchalance calming. "When we were chatting, he whispered something surrounding a fire-user. I wasn't listening." He rubbed his hand, unable to explain any-more.
"You kids." Someone, belonging to nobility sighed. "Name's Asrial, and this meeting is classified, go to the academy, you wanted to return after all."
Asrial lazily lifted his hand, and a rush of mana shattered. "Rogue's dimensional magic is greater, but this is likely to work." He languidly yawned. "Damn, I'm sleepy." He murmured.
Unable to declare my words, a deluge of energy crashed into all of us, and my consciousness dispelled.
Exiting Vadras' Experience.
The exhausted noble laughed, and yelled. "Rogue! You owe me after this!" His demeanour drastically changed, a deathly and serious one. "Unrevealed. This war can go many paths, losing is unneeded."
He massaged his yellow hair unworriedly. "Like Lord Kaud announced, you're above us all." He swivelled, and approached the lower nobles. "Above them."
"You offering to get students? What an unamusing idea, and the outcomes are unanticipated." Asrial growled beneath his breath. "I wanted your death to arrive, now, stay alive."
Lord Kaud composedly listened, the bellowing aristocrats voicing their own opinions. "Silence!" He ordered, a determined look on his face.
"Asrial Asaki. Riuden Roarn, come." He beckoned, the climate around him calmed. "Noble Riuden. This surpasses your maturity, leave!"
Conflicted, he bowed, and a guard advanced away with him. While Asrial stretched his arms. He awaited his orders.
"Now. Noble Asrial. I'm sending you to the expanse of battle," Kaud announced, a steeled glimmer emanated from him. "You are scheduled to go soon, and a few knights are to show you, your location."
Asrial signalled, his thumb rose. Lowering his appendage, he basked himself in energy, and his shape dispersed, a grey shine remained.
Kaud smiled inwardly, and declared. "The Spiritual Kingdom is destined to win!" He encouraged them to agree. "Now. The real reason to this meeting. Asceticae is getting beaten."
Uv grabbed Scuin from falling, a cheerful grin grew on his face. He secured the magma-user gently, and grasped Rogue's arm around the other side of his neck, similar to Scuin, and rougher.
The robed-noble coughed hoarsely, annoyed. "Stop moving me!"
"Sorry. Sorry!" Unrevealed shouted childishly. "Dragging you away is easier."
Scuin was currently unconscious, and Uv and Rogue's condition resembled each-other's burned, and sliced. The blood was eliminated from Unrevealed's damaged stomach.
"Seriously," Rogue murmured, his hand squeezing itself, a simple method to reduce his unyielding slash. "He's still alive."
Uv gave him a nod. His pupils looked up to the heavens. He roared, a brutal, and ruthless yell.
Rogue listened amicably, the strong were always weaker.
He awoke speedily. Kloaked's head span to the side, he spotted Kai, sitting on an office chair. His hand rocked, and the headmaster stood.
"I'm disappointed." He noised, disapproval encompassing his voice. "Your lineage is special, and you were unable to battle."
The principal's skull swayed, and he sighed. "Regardless. You obtained a realization."
"He was aware," Kloaked whispered casually. Staring at the space where Kai previously stayed. "What kinda magic can he use?"
He exhaustedly positioned himself, escaping the bed's comfort and walked out the door. His movements were messy and bandages wrapped his arms.
"Asrial's magic?" He guessed, and staggeringly continued, advancing through the hallway. "Now. I need the dormitories."
His hands relaxed, and his mindfulness faded, the academy would soon become something he'd desire to go, and check on. The war was simply starting.
Asceticae damagingly grinned, gashes and lacerations encircled his body. He sprinted across the surface, the emptiness was kind.
He continued, racing through the earth. He shaped his staff, and enquired. "Anything happen?"
"Of course. A specific child gave me a response."
"Meaning?"
"No need to worry."
The weapon-wielder smiled rambunctiously, and sped forward. His claret pupils shining calmly. He leaped, and his silhouette dispelled, a hurricane of energy remained.
Kloaked relaxed on his cushion. Scrutinizing the bandage, he exhaled. He dropped onto the pillow and his vision blurred, and he entered slumber.
While Flamma was on his bed. He was currently quite bored, and his only option was to read a weapon, a weapon which could obliterate anything, a mentality.
The book rested in the fire-user's hands. He rummaged through the pages, there wasn't anything exciting containing the novel, and Feriosio sighed.
He slammed the book onto the desk near his station, and relayed to himself the information which captured his eye mentally.
"Mana Currents. 10 cylinder-tube-like appendages inside the body, mana channels around them, and they are capable of getting removed. If the person's body is opened up enough. The currents become removable."
He was exhausted and wearily slumbered, his mana radiating rambunctiousness.
A sad whisper.
