First things first; I’d like to sincerely thank everyone who has subscribed and is seemingly getting excited to read Aconite. It really means a lot to me. So thank you; I’ve been working on this in some form or fashion for, like 7 years or something crazy like that.
Now for a bit of bad news that I really don’t want to deliver.
So life happened, and hit me like a sack of bricks recently.
At the end of July I very unexpectedly had to move halfway across the country due to the god awful rental economy on Canada’s West Coast. The move had a lot of complications (read fuck U-Haul with a cactus) that prevented me from working on Aconite.
And because my life sucks at the moment, obviously that’s not the worst of it. Immediately after the move settled (and I mean the same god damn day) my computer decided to die. It is unrecoverable and I will not be able to replace it for at least another week. Which means that I’ve lost all of the work that I had done up until this point getting ready for the launch.
HOWEVER I didn’t lose my scripts (thank you google drive). They aren’t the most recent version so I’m updating them one last time while I make hard copies of thumbnails and wait to get my computer replaced.
What this means is that the launch of Aconite will be delayed. I don’t know when I’ll be able to properly work on it again, but I will not have it ready for October. My hope is to have something by the end of November. My realistic goal is to launch at the end of December or early in the new year.
Thank you for sticking with me, and for giving Aconite a shot.
We aren’t dead. Just delayed. And remember to back up your stuff kids.
In the interim please accept this image of Alistair (who you will meet in CH0!) that i did for Inktober last year.
Objectively speaking he's way better at being human. It's not like he wants to turn into a bloodthirsty bundle of hair and rage once a month. But fear is the bane of wolves, and Luca can't help himself.
But that was before the world went to hell.
Before the masked men started raising the dead.
Before the storm.
Before the shadow.
Before his nightmares came to life.
Now Luca, with friends both old and new, are travelling across Asteryth trying to figure out that the hell is going on. And more importantly, why aren't their phones working?
