Jaxon stared at Blake who hid his face behind his hands in embarrassment. “Don’t look at me!”
Ahriman was seriously trying to hold in his laughter while Coney was excited by the entire thing. So was Nightmane, by the way. Very excited. He was howling and huffing in Jaxon’s mind to the point that Jaxon wondered if he was as well.
“What are you doing?” Jaxon said, clearing his throat which only made his voice hoarse.
Blake sniveled, his two bunny ears drooping and little fluffy bunny tail twitching. He was so damn adorable that Jaxon really felt like the big bad wolf, ready to eat some rabbit. Forcing Nightmane down, a task not easily done by the way, Jaxon focused on the strange half bunny form Blake currently had.
“I was training. Coney wanted to train me in some spirit magic. It allows the witch to take the form and powers of their contracted spirit,” Blake said finally showing his face, pulling at his ears. “I haven’t gotten it down yet.”
Sitting down beside Blake in the grass, he tried not to notice the twitching tail seemingly trying to entice him. “And why didn’t you take Ahriman’s form. It seems easier.”
“Not if he didn’t want to destroy the world. Archons might just seem random but when we are created by an anterion they literally change the universe for us. If Blake would change into my form he would have to do that as well or the universe, or at least this realm breaks into the middle,” Ahriman said, finally stop chuckling. “Though I guess it would be fine for a short while, but then the second problem comes into play.”
“Second problem?”
“No human could bear the power of an archon. Maybe a god, but not an archon,” pulling on Blake’s ears, Ahriman’s mirth came back. “So, he can stick with trying to take the form of a bunny.”
“Did you need something?” Blake muttered, rubbing his ears.
“Yeah, the harvest festival is soon coming up. We are supposed to handle the stands this year for the first-year students. I hear my brother is planning something special though,” Jaxon cleared his throat. “Maybe, we can spend the day together. It would be nice to do it right this year.”
Blake looked up at him for a second, before he leaned in with a smile. “As long as you save me the first dance, I will be fine.”
“Seriously, this is way too much teenage hormones for me,” Ahriman rolled his eyes, feinting disgust.
“Yes, and the wolf’s lust went overdrive when he saw Blake in his bunny form. I think he wants to eat you, Blake!” Coney huffed and scratched Jaxon’s pants.
Right now, he was seriously thinking a rabbit stew would be fine, while Blake chuckled and kissed his cheek.
