This is a fancomic based on the Shadowhunter Chronicles books by Cassandra Clare. I don't explain worldbuilding inside the comic (my justification for this is that warrior cat comic creators don't have to explain their worldbuilding in comic so I'm not gonna explain mine) BUT for words that are specific to this series' lore, I'll explain what they mean in the description right here (because I know a lot of people aren't really. into shadowhunters like I am and I want everyone to at least be able to somewhat enjoy this comic)! SO to start this off a few things that are mentioned in the summary.

Shadowhunters: Also called Nephilim. Secret society of half-angel soldiers who's sole goal is to rid the world of demons. Their creed and angelic blood were given to them by the angel Raziel. They draw runes on themselves and each other that give them powers (only Nephilim can wear these runes, they kill anyone else). Normal humans can become shadowhunters if they drink from a chalice called the mortal cup.

Parabatai: Kinda like warrior brothers. Two shadowhunters make a platonic life-long bond to always be with each other and fight with each other. You can only get a parabatai before you turn 18 and parabatai cannot be in love (one-sided feelings/friends-with-benefits is okay though. just no mutual feelings) or a curse will occur. Runes drawn on someone by their parabatai are stronger than normal runes, they fight together, and they can somewhat feel each other's pain. When one person in a parabatai bond dies the other feels like they lost a part of themself.
