Lately I have been wondering if I may be the morally gray villainess of the story and not the hero. Obviously we are all the hero of our own stories, but sometimes we get to be the villain of someone else’s. Defining good and evil is hard. The world isn’t simply black and white, but shades of gray. And sometimes in order to protect the ones we love, laws must be broken and others must be hurt.
