My heart beated louder as I ran as fast as I could, a haunting lullaby being sung behind me "Little angel lost in Hell, heart for a demon made the angel fell" there's nowhere to hide, not a thing in sight "Fear inside and darkness within... warned love of a demon~" a clock chimed as shadows of the dead started to appear. "Run through the streets in the dead of night, darkness itself becomes your light" a few of the shadows attempted to grab or trip me to make it easier for the thing to catch me, but I just pushed through and kept running until I ended up at the edge of a cliff. Nothing but sharp rocks and water laid below. I turned around, being met with a pitch black shadow figure "While their love is dismembered alive..." their voice sounded exactly like mine, crazed glowing green eyes stared into my sky blue ones "Little angel is frozen in ice~". They pushed me off the cliff, falling towards the watery depths-

Gamer jolted awake as the bus stopped. Erik and Lucifer had decided to take today's lesson off campus. Vonnora Woods, a forest which is also counted as EU property and those who are not student or teacher at the school are trespassers. Vonnora Woods is used as a somewhat controlled/uncontrolled training environment, mostly used to teach the students with element-based powers, but today it'll be use somewhat differently. The students got off the bus, followed by Lucifer and Erik "Today is 'Hide and Seek' training, just like the one you did on the camping trip" Erik announced, which was successfully followed by all the teenage signs and groans "Instead of me and Erik hunting you down, Gamer and Isra will be the seekers" everyone looked at Lucifer, confusion on all their faces "They'll be using their shadow walker powers to find you". A few minutes of Lucifer talking to the two shadow walkers and Erik explaining the rules to the others, it was time to start to training exercise. All the students lined up in a huge line at the entrance of the forest, Isra and Gamer stood several feet behind them. Three. Two.... one. "Run!" the students ran into the forest as fast as they could, Erik turned to the two shadow walkers, hand in the air as he looked at his watch. They were allowed one minute to run or hide, and soon that minute was nearly up. "Ready...." Isra and Gamer got ready to run, Isra's eyes glowed their unique pink while Gamer's burned bright green "Go-" the two of them bolted into the forest, leaving both teachers amazed "I forgot how fucking fast Shadow was" Erik laughed a bit. It was true, Gamer was fast due to his first year of Hell, thanks to Jackal making him have small races against another royal. The two shadow walkers still side by side until Isra used her shadow powers to snake up a tree and kick Wilford off one of the highest branches. Gamer kept running until he grabbed hold of a tree branch, swung off it onto Noah's shoulders and making the poor surprised angel fall to the ground "You're out" Gamer smirked before getting up and signalling to Isra to split up.

One by one, finding each one of their peers until only Skyler, Leo and Death were left. At this point, the two were getting tired, yet stayed somewhat split up. Skyler was bound to be further into the woods than Leo and Death since Skyler was the last one found on the camping trip. Gamer and Isra decided to have a small break from running, now walking together "Think we'll find Leo, Death and Sky?" "Not really, Sky's too quick and the other two, we'd have to bait them out" Gamer answered "You talk to Death yet about-" "Yeah, and I don't feel like talking about it now". Yeah... when Gamer got back and was avoiding Death, Isra caught on and talked to Gamer.... she knows the whole story now since Gamer trusts her enough. "Sorry, just thought... you know, conversation starter, but... its more of a conversation ender" "Yeah-" Gamer spotted something out of the corner of his eye- "Skyler!" he ran over to Skyler who laid on the ground unconscious. Isra ran over to them "What happened?" she asked as Gamer looked at Skyler, eyes growing wide as he looked at the grey hand print on her neck "Killens... DEATH! LEO!" Gamer yelled, no response. He stood up "DEATH! LEO!" still nothing "Her powers are drained, she'll be out for a while" Isra whispered looking up at Gamer "Gamer... what if there is actually a killen on the loose in Vonnora Woods?" Gamer looked at Isra then back at the rest of the woods "We're about to find out".

Death and Leo were somewhat walking together, deeper into the forest "So... you like Isra?" Death asked as Leo glared at him "I don't know how you figured that out, but fuck off-" "No, no- its okay, got no problem with it at all, just wish the best for ya" "Yeah right" Leo rolled his eyes "You'll only care about others' love life when you finally have yours in check". Death narrowed his eyes "I care about my friends-" "Oh really? How's being rejected by your best friend? Or haven't you two talked about it yet?" Death dug his blunt nails into his palms, adverting his eyes to the ground as he started walking again "Shit... you two have talked" Leo's face filled with guilt as Death stopped walking. "How... how did it go?....if you don't mind me asking" Death signed, turning his head back to Leo "We're still 'Just friends' but... only until 'it' happens again" "You guys won't be friends anyone?" Death shook his head as Leo looked at him confused "What would happen if it happens again?" "Give ya a hint, it's not friends nor an actual relationship" Leo's eyes widened in surprise and realization "You mean-" "DEATH! LEO!" Gamer and Isra's faint yelling could be heard behind Leo. The two guys looked in the direction "Why are they yelling?" "Probably trying to bait us out-" "DEATH! LEO- PLEASE! WHY ARE YOU?!" Isra's voice yelled "That's too realistic for bait Death" Leo's words were followed by concern as Death thought for a bit. Right now, they were so deep into the forest that it's unlikely Lucifer or Erik to hear them, plus Death could've sworn that Skyler was behind the two of them earlier, yet she's not in sight and had diffidently not passed them. "DEATH! LEO!" Gamer's faint yelling was filled with worry "Something's diffidently off-" a tree branch made a sound, there's no wind or wildlife... the two looked at each other before breaking out into a run towards the yelling.

The two finally found the two shadow walkers "What's wrong?" Leo asked, out of breath "Some thing had drained Skyler's powers" Isra's voice was filled with panic "And we thought-" "Where's Skyler?" Death asked "She's a few feet back behind us, completely knocked out-" "I think there's a killen here" Gamer interrupted Isra, both Leo and Death's eyes widened. "We got to get you out of here, now" Death said, voice stern and directed at Gamer "Death's right-" Leo got shot with something in the arm "The fuck?!" a sharp hedgehog-like spike stuck out of Leo's arm, the skin around it growing black. "Terna" Death muttered "What's a Terna?" Isra asked Death "A type of torture demon under the Threat Wing- don't take that quill out or it'll make it worse-" another spike flew pass Death's face, Isra grabbed Leo by his good arm and pulled him over to a tree for cover, using her powers to keep them hidden. Spikes kept flying at them- Gamer pushed Death out of the way, the two demons ending up falling to the ground as Gamer used his powers to make them 'invisible' to the killen. Death laid on the ground with Gamer laying on his chest, eyes glowing bright green as he used his power to hide them "Don't move" Gamer faintly whispered as the killen looked around for them. "The fuck did you go?" the killen whispered to themselves as they continued to walk around the area. Gamer looked over at where Isra and Leo where, he could just faintly see them through Isra's powers… another perk to being a shadow walker, being able to see other shadow walkers. If only Isra was closer to the killen, she could deafen them which would give Leo a chance to blood bend while him or Death go get help… but that was seriously impossible due to the killen shooting out all these quills. That was until the person they forgot was still not found fell out of the branches above and landed on the killen's shoulders.... Angel.

Angel had a bleeding cut on her right hand, and she used that hand to grab hold of the killen's arm as they hissed in pain. Angel's blood burned them before Angel herself floored them and when they attempted to get up, shakily standing on both legs, Angel kicked them so hard that they flew back into a tree. Angel rushed over to Isra and Leo as Isra stopped using her powers. Angel helped Isra get Leo back to the bus while Cyprise appeared by the killen's side "Let's get you back to base" Cyprise muttered coldly, placing a hand on the killen's shoulder and shadow-walking out of the forest. Yet Gamer and Death still remained hidden. Gamer sat up, looking around as if there was still danger "Gamer?" Gamer looked down at Death, eyes still glowing bright green and full of worry "You okay?" Death hesitantly asked, but Gamer could barely speak. Death carefully sat up "You can stop using your powers now" "I-I can't" Gamer said "I was more worried about the killen-" Death hugged Gamer, hoping to calm him down. Gamer hesitantly wrapped his arms around Death, burying his head in the crook of Death's neck "I'm sorry" "You're just tired Gamer, you've been using your powers all day-" Death felt his friend go limp. Death looked at Gamer and smiled a bit... Gamer had passed out from exhaustion. Death picked Gamer up and walked back to the bus. When he made it back, he was met with an ambulance... Skyler on a stretcher being lifted into the ambulance and Leo sitting on the edge with a paramedic tending to the poisonous quill still stuck in his arm. Lucifer walked over to Death "What happened?" "Terna killen ambushed us in the woods-" "I can see that thanks to Leo's arm as evidence- I meant... what happened to Gamer" Lucifer asked as Death looked at Gamer who was still passed out in his arms "Used to much energy, although before he passed out... he couldn't stop using his powers, as if he had no control over it anymore" Lucifer's face grew grim as he looked at Gamer. "Lucifer? What is it?" "I-" Lucifer stopped himself, looking over at Erik from the corner of his eye before he signed "I'm sorry, but its not my place to tell you"....
