The Unknown
There was a moment when the world came to halt and within that halt, the boy existed freely. There the boy concluded to create The Garden upon looking at two animals. But the boy did not only look at them, but he also looked at a third. Sadly this animal's heart was filled with darkness and his hands were filled with the blood of the innocent. To the boy’s surprise, there was something familiar about this creature.
"Erasing my creations is the same as killing them. But I didn't notice until now, you are not one of mine. This would explain why you have so much hate."
"TIME: UNBIND."
Suddenly the world seemed to be at a halt. Was lively again, but only the three animals were able to move.
Just before the snake, DeeJal, could strike, the boy lifted his hands into the air. DeeJal was left suspended in the air.
"Ssssss, what is this magic?!" He cried out.
"My question now is who is your creator and where do you come from?"
(Although I suspect I know the answer.)
"What nonsense do you speak of strange creature? Do you not know who I am, I am…"
"I very much know who you are. I have watched you for three eras. I am the creator of those two down there. I created this planet fifteen eras ago. Now I will not ask again, who is your creator and where do you come from?"
The boy flashed his golden eyes at DeeJal and for the first time, The Fox and The Hare saw fear in their long-time enemy's face. They could not decipher whether they should be pleased by this or be terrified themselves. Each of them swallowed hard with sweat dripping down their faces.
"I was put into this world, but I do not know from whom. I am part of what once was sealed away in an icy tomb, but my true master lies there still. At least that's what I can feel."
"I see. That information is all I needed."
(So it would seem after all these eras The Unknown still plays his cards in shadows. But the darkness that lies here as well as this creature in front of me. They are nothing, but mere puppets.)
"TIME: BIND."
The boy froze DeeJal in time once more and turned his attention towards The Fox and The Hare. He suspended himself in the air and hovered over towards them.
"Do not be afraid, for I am the protector of this world and its universe. The one called DeeJal is not from this world of mine. He is from the other half. The one that I suspect who sent him here was most likely after the heart of mother nature, which I now hold in my hand."
"I have so many questions. If you are our protector and you say you've watched us. Why not save and liberate us from this long war?" Questioned The Hare.
"A protector cannot interfere in his creations' matters. This halts the process of evolution. But with your case, I felt I had watched long enough as I began to suspect other hands we're at play."
"What are you?" Asked The Fox.
"What am I? I don't even know, I simply was the darkness that wanted to be more, and one day I awoke. And when I awoke I was still in the dark so I created Light and from there I learned more about my capabilities. I had visions of endless worlds and universes. I do not understand this strange world I created. But that was eras ago, now I am on a mission."
The Fox and The Hare both looked at each other. They both knelt on one knee.
"We would be honored if you taught us about the world," said The Hare.
"As well as to be stronger and protect those who are dear to us," added The Fox.
"Oh, my creatures. For as long as my blood flows and The Garden stands you will never live in fear again. For as long as you drink the water you shall carry God's blood and live forever. But only if one bears my sacred mark. This I promise."
"I don't understand," said The Fox.
"Neither do," added The Hare.
"Then let me show you."
The boy suspends them both into the air and pulls them close until he touches their heads. In what seemed to be a second, flashes of memories to come, and knowledge flowed to The Fox and The Hare. With that in play both of the animals respond.
"I see, so that is your will."
"Fox, from this day forward I will be called The Rabbit. For when the day shall come for us to fight again. Hare, my name shall return."
"Then I The Fox will give up my power. For when the day shall be, I will rise to the occasion. I will fight in that final battle."
"Your bravery and dedication to me are too much. Now, you must return to The Garden. I have unfinished business here. I've already spoken and talked to all the animals there as you saw in my memories. Like I've told them when my adventures are over I will live here and call it home. This I promise."
And with that, both of the animals activated the Garden Gate.

They stood there looking at the boy, and suddenly tears began to fall from their faces. They had remembered everything from back then. Just how hard was his loneliness, they thought. The Rabbit disappeared into the green light. The Fox turned his head once more to look at the boy. The soft wind blew the boy's hair all over his face as if to cover his tearing eyes.
"You will do just fine", said the boy.
The gate finally shut and for a moment all was quiet.
"TIME: UNBIND."
The boy then turns his attention towards DeeJal, who now has been unfrozen from time.
"I wish not to harm or kill you despite all the crimes that you've caused and the damages you have done to this world. But this doesn't mean you will go without punishment. DeeJal, The Snake. I sentenced you to imprisonment until the day I return once more. When this day comes, I shall take you where you belong. I will seal you away in a statue. For now, you will live here, you will live here in this patch that you and your comrades have cursed with your poison."
With that, the boy did just that. Like the wind came and went he too was nowhere to be seen. This would be the last time anyone saw the boy again.
For eras, later time passed and the statue sat through the long winter months. But when spring came the trees remained bare. As summer approached every living plant started to turn brown, slowly dying. Until fall arrived and everything became black.
The remaining animal's from the other world's eyes started to turn purple signifying that evil magic was at play. For it was a way for him to watch and listen through their eyes. Their fur turned black as night. And DeeJal manipulated all their memories a little. He had buried part of the statue in the center of the terrain and finally felt and looked on over his kingdom. "It's even more beautiful than I'd ever comprehended, he will be proud of my work. This place shall one day serve as the last battleground once again. Because after all, this is where it all started." He said to himself.
"What was it that the boy called this place again? Ah, yes I remember now. He called it The Patch. It was foolish of him to seal me in the statue my powers got sealed in. After many eras I have finally turned this Patch into the world I imagined so long ago with my comrades. And since a part of his power dwells in here with me to keep the seal. A part of me lives in the place they call The Garden. But those two still watch me and keep any of the other animals away from where a part of me still lurks."
"These eyes of mine on this statue. They could be useful."
"I will manipulate them all from the shadows. I will inspire the children there. I will fill their heads with ideas and the false hopes The Garden gives. Slowly I will lure them into The Patch. Until at least one of my children traverses into The Garden. I will be watching, listening, waiting. Lingering until the day I can take my revenge. After all, a part of me Lies in The Garden."
