He watched as his precious bunny stormed about for the rest of the morning, he hadn’t read his warning. He wanted to protect him, he needed to protect him but he found he didn’t need to as he packed his stuff, cleaned up the room removing any trace of himself and left just in time. They had just missed each other, it didn’t stop Tyler from smelling his presents, he’d have no clue what he touched or what he didn't. His Bunny boy was smarter than to let someone know he was there with a specialized deodorizer. He went to the hotel where they both had stayed and he packed, ready to head home to Cali. He hoped that his Bunny was going home as well.
At the airport he was happy to see him getting an earlier flight home. Unfortunately this time he would be going in the opposite direction as he was heading for New York. He’d see him again, and maybe next time he’d get closer to him, maybe he’d let him figure out who he was. He slipped another note into his back pocket and grinned feeling up his nice tight ass as he did. Monroe spun to try and catch a glimpse of him but he had been too fast and the airport too busy. He enjoyed the angry look as he read his note. Someday soon he was going to let that bunny catch him, but not today.
2 weeks later there was a large commotion. The jewelry that had been replaced was suddenly melting. The museum was in an uproar, there was no way that it was warm enough to melt silver in the display case. It turned out all the pieces were not silver and the gems had been replaced by polished resin. The temperature had been lowered in the room so the display lights did not heat the sensitive Gallium to it’s super low melting point of 85 degrees. Fortunately as planned by Monroe it took time before people complained it was cold in the room then the temperature was turned up and as people stood in the room it got even warmer and under the strong lights it finally brought it up to its melting point. He even had a back up plan to protect the cleaning company, he had called back and made it sound sketchy that the owner of the display wanted some of the larger gems swapped out. Of course the company refused, they just did cleaning, and because they were a large company they recorded everything. That was how they found out the emerald was also a fake despite it not being part of the melting collection.
