ust as he broke the kiss, he disappeared and I was back in the hospital room. Looking at the digital clock above the door, I noticed it was six o'clock. “Hmm someone must've gotten him up for school” I thought. As I was lost deep in thought, I moved to sit up on my bed unconsciously using both hands to push myself up before remembering I wasn't supposed to. When I felt no pain, I poked my arm and then mind linked Troy to send for the doctor. As I waited, I recalled the dream making me sad and then recalling the kiss my heart filled with happiness and love. “Oh my god, Noah was right! I really do already love him” I thought blushing. After a few minutes, I heard Luci chuckle before saying “well, I had the feeling that was the case. Don't worry, he's already in love with us too. Can't you feel it?” Concentrating on our mate bond, I realized Lucifer was right Remington is in love with us.

“Wait, does he know? Can he sense it too?” I asked flustered.

“He felt it the moment you realized it because our bond is that strong” Luci answered with a smile in his voice. Pulling my knees up to my chest, I covered my face burying it in the tops of my knees. Suddenly the door opened and I heard uncles panicked voice say “oh my god, King what's wrong?” When I looked up, his expression changed from worry to a smile as he stared at my tomato red face.

“Well, that's a new look for you” Noah said stepping out from behind uncle. Pulling the pillow from behind me, I threw it at him with my left arm causing them all to gasp. When I realized why, I said “apparently, my bond with my mate is really strong because my arm no longer hurts. Doctor would you check it out please?”

“Holy crap man, if that's true then I wish I was you since you can heal over some distance assuming your mate isn't here anywhere” Noah said still helping me hide the fact that we knew who it was. Mind linking him, I said “I'll explain later” to which he replied “you better.”After the doctor, unwrapped the bandage from my arm he turned it this way and that and then had me place my palm against his and push against his hand to test my strength. Then he had them run an x-ray on my arm to make sure everything healed properly.

As we sat there, uncle was so shocked that he didn't say anything until the doctor came back with all my test results.

“Well you are one lucky wolf young man” the doctor said prompting my uncle to ask “what does that mean exactly?”

“That means that his arm is 100% healed and even all the muscles have knit themselves back together. There is no remaining damage from the attack or from the severing ritual. Basically he's a healthy werewolf” the doctor explained.

“How is that even possible?” uncle asked thoroughly confused now.

“I have no idea but those tests don't lie, Alpha. He is perfectly fine now” the doctor said looking at me causing uncle to turn and do the same.

“Okay you guys are making me feel like some sort of freak show. I assume I'm free to go now that all the tests are conclusive. So, I'm gonna go get ready for school. Come on Noah” I said turning to head to my room. As we walked, Noah asked “should I tell you know who that you're coming today?”

“No, I wanna surprise him. You could arrange a ride for us though” I said smiling.

“Consider it done my friend” Noah said as he pulled out his phone and started texting just as we reached my room. Heading inside, Noah took a seat on the end of my bed while I went to my closet to retrieve my phone and something cute to wear. Handing Noah my phone, I headed to the bathroom to shower and change dressing in a dark blue V-neck t-shirt, light washed faded jeans with fake rips, a teal blue hoodie and matching beanie. As I left the bathroom, Noah saw me and whistled then said “damn are we going for cute and adorable or smoking because man you've managed to pull off both.”

“I was going for cute and comfy but I'll take that” I said sitting on the edge of my bed to put on my dark blue Converse All Stars. Then heading to my dresser, I grabbed a ponytail band and slid it onto my wrist then put on my back up control pendent. Sliding it over my head to hang around my neck and looking in the mirror, I saw it hung just at the tip of the V of my shirt. With a deep breath, I picked up my book bag and turned to Noah. Without a word, he got up and we headed for the door.

As we walked down the stairs, Noah said “here's your phone back and Carly will be here in a second. How do you wanna do the surprise by the way since we have first period together?”

“Thanks” I said taking my phone and sliding it into my pocket before opening our link and continuing “I assume you all had planned to hang out with him this morning yeah? Then here's what we'll do. You guys get his attention and get him to come to the side of the building with you. I'll be waiting by one of the cars where he won't see me though he may sense my excitement, I'll just have Luci tell him I got the okay to leave the hospital if he asks.” At this point, Noah had already started to giggle at my plan then asked “so how will you surprise him?”

“While you guys have his attention, I'll sneak up then pin him to the wall and kiss him” I said aloud since we were now outside.

“Okay, what if he's already inside when we get there?” Noah asked.

“He shouldn't be but if we see his red truck in the parking lot already and he's not standing near it then I'll have to rethink my plan” I shrugged as Carly pulled up in front of the pack house in her Silver Honda. Opening the front and rear doors of the passenger side at the same time, Noah said “hey babe” as we climbed in. Closing the door, I looked at Carly to see a look of shock and then tears just before she said “King, I'm so happy you're alright. Noah didn't tell me you were coming this morning too.”

“Sorry, that's my fault. I wanted it to be a surprise specially for Rem since I only got the all clear this morning” I said smiling.

“Oh good plan, I take it we are serving as distractions for him” she said as we pulled away from the pack house and down the road.

“That's it exactly. Now we just have to hope that he's not already there” Noah said with a shrug. A few minutes later we were pulling into the school parking lot and none of us could find Rem's big red truck. After we parked, we all got out and started walking towards the building when Luci said “he's almost here” just as the sound of a truck could be heard coming down the road. Looking at Noah, I turned and headed in the direction of the end of the building while they waited for Rem to park and come to find them. A few minutes later, I could see Noah, Carly, and Rem coming towards me through the glass of the car I was next to. Stifling a giggle, I could feel Rem's happiness and unease as they led him to where I wanted him and got him into position.

Three seconds later, I left my hiding spot and snuck over to them. Then mind linking Noah, I had him move three steps to his right just before I rounded the corner and kissed Rem wrapping my arms around his neck. He must've been in shock because it took him another minute to react and kiss me back wrapping his arms around my waist. A minute later, we heard giggling and I realized I had actually forgotten we had an audience. Pulling back, I opened my eyes and saw a pair of beautiful bronze ones staring at me in shock and wonder. As we stared at each other, Noah said “sorry to interrupt but we've got to get to class guys” before taking Carlys hand and heading back around the building leaving us alone. Another minute passed before Rem loosened his grip and said “I'm almost afraid to let go. Am I gonna wake up in a minute and realize this was all a dream?”
