My personal journey that started March 2020 has come to an end. With this page, I have completed my goal to throw caution into the wind and dive headfirst into learning the medium of webcomics through trial and error & commit to writing a story for once instead of just daydreaming.
Everything from page 1-10 was adapted from a personal drabble I wrote around Christmas 2019 during a depressive period of mine. The original drabble was about 970 words and was generally written super moody and atmospheric. Not the best thing to work off of for a medium such as this with my beginning skill level for page 1. But Page 11 & 12 were originally planned in the proper format with all the knowledge and tools I gathered until this point, and I am so Proud of everything I've been able to accomplish.
The Joy of this journey, the pride I've regained in my art after 5 years 'healing' from a wrist injury, and the friends I've made along the way are invaluable.
With this end comes my new beginning. With chapter 1 to work on, I will be writing this story purely with a webcomic mindset. And I am beyond excited to see what I can do uwu
Join S.W. as she travels down the Pacific Coast!
S.Way is about a young woman traveling Southward, desperately chasing a memory.
Harper (currently going by S.W.) was last dropped off in a small town south of Seattle. After breaking off from the original group she hitched a ride with, she spent the night at a local motel. Now on her own, S.W. needs to make her way to the interstate and hopefully catch a ride along the way.
