This is technically unrelated to Tools, but it was also a practice comic with a similar tone, so I decided categorise this and other comics like this as 'back-up' features like in old-school comics. This came from a comics club's activity, to make a comic out of Wally Wood's 22 Panels That Always Work. Unlike my previous collage comics, this one isn't digital, made from actual cut-outs from physical copies of old comics, National Geographics, and a Life Magazine. In other words, my first one.
This is a black and white scan though (colour showed off the blue sketching too much), which has a pretty cool effect. Reminds me of old school xerox fanzines. One thing I learnt from this I think I need to find a way to do better at hand-lettering (I did get stencils, but they didn't seem that suitable), but otherwise I like the result. I really leaned into it not making sense, which is the best part of collages anyway.
