But first, on earth as vampire sent,
Thy corpse shall from its tomb be rent;
Then ghastly haunt thy native place,
And suck the blood of all thy race...

[Unquenched, unquenchable]”
by Lord Byron
“So, she’s escaped once more, huh? How fucking hard was it to keep the damn doors locked, the car moving, and keep her tranquilized?! Do you realize what the fuck you’ve done in letting her go?!” she questioned furiously, her golden eyes blazing like a midday sun.
The driver all but put himself in the fetal position at the woman’s wrath, bawling like a newborn first out of the womb. “Get this pathetic piece of shit out of my sight and lock him in the dungeon for 30 moons!” she yelled after spitting on the man, two guards hurrying to do as they’re told.
“No! Please, no! Anything but the dungeon! Please, miss, give me another chance, please!” he cried as they dragged him along, his pleas falling on deaf ears and ultimately muted by the huge stone double doors as they closed with a loud boom.
The Vampiress sighed and gritted her teeth, eyes glowing gold in annoyance, her pure white wings furling and unfurling in tune with her mood. “Bring that vampire to me, no matter what must be done. This will be the last time I will request this of others, next time I’ll do it myself.” She nearly yelled at the top of her voice.
Yawning in boredom, a strange woman in the corner chuckled, her teeth flashing white as she stepped out into the sunlight, “Your wish is my command, madam. That bitch won’t be a trouble to you anymore. I’ll have her brought to you dead or alive.”
“No, no; that won’t do. I want that bitch alive. I want her to see what she’s done by taking that throne and exiling me to the other ends of the Earth!” she said coldly.
The strange woman nodded, “Your wish is my command,” she said as she left.
Sighing softly as she left the throne room, she quickly made her way towards the back end of the castle and took off in a dead sprint towards the forest once she was outside. Once she reached the edge, she slowed down a bit before finally stopping in the middle of a clearing, “Home, sweet home, I guess,” she muttered.
Entering the crudely built hut, she stripped off her clothes and removed the bandages holding up her hair and binding her chest, “Thank god that Vampiress doesn’t seem to mistake me for anything other than what I want her to. I guess that witch’s curse is worth some good after all.” She murmured to the fireplace.
