Meeting of Leaders
Upon reaching the mansion Landon flew out of the limo before Jaris could stop. Landing heavily upon the stone, loud cracking filling the quiet mansion grounds he pulsed his aura from his body. It washed over the mansion like a black wave. Those who could see auras, could watch it dissipate across the land behind. It was a warning, everyone residing in the castle was now marked by him. He smiled wickedly, he was quite enjoying this new power of his. Flexing a clawed hand, his only physical sign of his body readying for a fight. He could now feel and see every demon among his household.
Arlo was by his side shortly after his outburst. He was looking at him with wide eyes. Landon only smiled in return. A huge gust of air caused both men to throw their arms over their eyes to shield themselves from debre. Both slowly lowered them as the wind died down. Between them and the door stood Lihell. With a loud earth shaking roar, he greeted his master, his long fangs glistening from the courtyard lights.
Lihell stood about sixteen feet high; his head was that of a dog, he had horns like a bull sharpened to deadly points, armor plates ran across the top; it was armor to protect his horns from cracking. His body was shaped much like a dog but his neck was shaggy like a young lion's mane. His tails were that of snakes, one had cobalt eyes, holding the power of ice, his other holding violet eyes, the power to cast barriers. His paws were large and shaped much like lions, his claws being able to retract. His salva held deadly poison, his blood red eyes, piercing. His body white as snow, was also plated with armor to protect himself in battle. Though a soft leather spot behind his shoulders for those who seek safety with the beast.
Landon reached out his right arm, his striped wrist becoming visible from under his sleeve. His eyes flashing red as he called upon his power. Forcing the whirling aura around Lihell to form and take the shape of that of a human. With the smoke dissipating, the human form of Lihell stood before them.
Landon watched as Lihell’s vibrant blood red eyes slowly faded to sable. Platinum hair that was a shaggy mess upon his head blew slightly with the evening breeze. His build was much like Landons in this form, strong but not brawny like Arlo’s.
Landon smirked as he watched Lihell cock his head to the side, much like a dog would, curious to the new changes of his form. It was not long when a big smile broke across his features as he bounded towards Landon. Though Landon was not prepared for the hundred and fifty pound, five foot eleven man to jump into his arms. He did not move much from the offence to his person and all Landon could see was white shaggy hair and hear Arlo laughing at his expense from the sidelines.
“Master, it is so good to be able to show you my affections once again!” Lihell’s new somewhat higher than normal voice excitedly called out too close to Landons ear to be welcomed.
Landon dropped the man to his feet before reaching out his right hand to rustle his dog's hair, this just further excited the young man before him.
“Yes Lihell it is good to see you as well.” Landon couldn’t help the smile that graced his features. Chuckling as he walked into the mansion, Arlo and Lihell beside him. Upon walking through the doors Damon stood there awaiting them.
“I will show you to the conference hall Milord, the others shall be arriving soon.” Landon watched Damon look to Lihell then Arlo. Never losing his same straight face he spoke to Arlo.
“It is good to see you on our side Arlo.” Landon eyed the interaction carefully. Damon only bowed to Arlo before turning on his heel.
Upon going down the hall a large library stretched across the right side before closing off to a double door conference room, outside the conference room there was a large fighting arena, it looked freshly built, Landon inwardly laughed on how it must be there in case business went bad. As Landon stepped into the room he noted the large table with his seat at the head, the table was long and could easily fit about twenty people. Arlo took the seat to his right, Lihell took the left of Arlo to help protect him. How Lihell knew that is where he should go he wasn’t sure, maybe it was because Damon would be attending this meaning and would then be at his right side. Whichever the case he was pleased, Lihell could tell and his obnoxious grin was plastered all over the young man's face.
“Damon, any news of my mother's whereabouts? Possible leads?” Damon walked to stand beside his Lord, never looking at him as he would never look down upon his Lord.
“No sir, there was a rumor she was hiding within the realm of the humans. Her personal hell hound is guarding her, though those are just rumors.” Landon nodded in reply.
“Arlo will be staying with us at the mansion, have the room beside mine prepared, bring another bed or large dog bed for Lihell to sleep in that room as well.”
“Of course Milord, anything else I can do before the guests arrive?”
“Yes, prepare rooms for the others in the main wing of the house, traveling realms is not easy for all of our guests, some may wish to rest before their return home.”
“Of course Milord.” Damon left the room to tend to his duties. Landon's serious gaze turned to Lihell, thankfully the guy sobered up.
“Lihell, I need you to stay with Arlo until told otherwise, the dragons are preparing to start a war, I do not want anyone attacking him in fear he is not loyal to me.”
“Yes Milord.” Landon and Arlo felt Lihells power spike momentarily until Arlo huffed. Lihell marked him to be protected much in the manor Landon himself had.
“I am a dragon for kami sake. I should be protecting others not being protected.” Arlo all but huffed out.
Landon only chuckled at his friend's expense. It wasn’t often he got to enjoy such small things. He was only ever awoken to bring peace between realms.
The outside sky quickly fell to darkness, that is when Landon felt the surge of power in his court yard. His nose told him it was Belen. He heard Damon speaking to her before the sounds of footfalls reached his ears. Turning his gaze to the entrance of the room there stood Belen in all her glory, her hair a vibrant blue fading to purple then to a cotton candy pink. She wore a long satin gown that fit her curves in all the right places. Landon couldn't help the satisfied gaze he sent her way. It was a shame her father would skin him alive if he did anything but court her.
Belen gave him a knowing smile before her vibrant cerulean gaze turned to Arlo, they hardened immediately, as she hissed before stomping to a seat on the right side of the table, away from Arlo. It wasn’t long after that both Ardner and Afia walked through the conference door. Damon following suit. Afia sat beside Lihell, Afia was short, very short, her hair auburn with freckles covering across her pale cheeks. Her eyes are vibrant green filled with mischief. Her smile broadened at the hellhound beside her.
Ardner on the other hand was a very tall man, he rivaled Arlo in height, his ears slightly pointed but not as much as normal, he had a rather straight longer nose, his gaze sharp. His obsidian gaze lingering on Belen a bit longer than it should have for a married Lord. He took his seat beside Afia. Damon takes his seat to Landon’s right as he should. Belen being the first to speak with a crack of her deadly claws.
“Why is he here?” Belen all but hissed out.
“I have brought him here, now if.” Landon never finished his sentence as Belen rudely interrupted him. Her shrill voice gave way to a headache.
“You call for a meeting based on the war that his kind is plotting, yet you have one here for yourself? You wish to question allegiance and ask for aid yet you bring death to our doors.” Landon’s eyes narrowed on the woman child beside him.
“Belen.” His voice fell on deaf ears.
“Maybe it is we who should be asking your allegiance, Landon. If it was…” Landon raised his hand to firmly cut her off.
“Belen cease your accusations. I'll forgive such an outburst due to your young age. Proper protocol at these meetings however start with the one who has sent the summoning.” He kept his gaze to her in challenge though her gaze left his quickly as she slightly turned away.
“I apologise.” Landon nodded to her before golden eyes drifted to the others in the room.
“Now, I have summoned you all here because as Belen stated, the dragon's want war and wish to wreak havoc across the realms. This is not something I will stand for. I will be blunt, I must know your allegiance, any lie spoken by the three of you will be spotted by Lihell, so do not even try it. Afia?”
“Why do you call me out?” Afia mocked a huff before sparkling eyes rested back on his person.
“I may be Fae Landon but you have known me long enough. My allegiance doesn't sway, though the dark fae I can not speak for. As for my Kin and I, we swear allegiance to you. Shall you go to war, we shall help serve in your victory.” Landon nodded to her before eyeing up Ardner. Ardner let out a sigh momentarily before speaking.
“We are prepared for war, we have seen this coming for a few hundred years now. The elemental folk of our forests have helped to create many spells in hopes to strengthen barriers. We will aid you Landon, but we elves do not want a single demon on our lands, your kind darken our woods, then kill the spirits residing. If we come to these terms, then I, Lord of the elven kingdom, swear allegiance to you.”
Landon pondered for a moment. It would be tough to save the elven kingdom without sending his men to fight on his lands, though maybe within his new power he can call an uncle from above to aid the realms.
“I agree to your terms, I will however have Damon draw up a treaty of sorts, we will all sign. Now Belen, your allegiances?”
“I will not swear allegiance until I know why the dragon is here.” Arlo gazed just as heatedly back at Belen. Both were polar opposites, fire and water.
Landon had to hide a smirk as Arlo sighed out a puff of smoke causing Belen to really steam. Eyeing the too suspiciously, he wondered if there was something there between the two. Before another argument broke out between them Landon decided to settle the matter for the woman child himself.
“Arlo is my childhood friend and a strong ally. I need not tell you his reason for the seat he sits in until you swear allegiance.” Belen turning more red with rage slammed her fist to the table. The loud noise not startling a soul in the room full of highly powerful beings.
“Fine I swear allegiance now tell me why he is here.” Her eyes turned to stare down Arlo. Her blatant disrespect for Landon shocking everyone in the room.
Landons golden eyes began to bleed red, his power flooded darkly over the room, all present could feel the force of his deadly demonic power pushing them physically to the ground, Lihell and Damon both forcing their gazes to the floor, Arlo in quick pursuit. Afia followed quickly after, Ardner reluctantly followed suit. Belen however, shook from the force of demonic energy being brought down upon her. She had never felt such power, her eyes widened as Landon continued his assault. Her hair whipping wildly, as Landon rose to face off. As he began to rise from his place Belen’s gaze dropped to the floor, submitting to his will. His lips pulling back into a snarl, his words coming out in a growl.
“Arlo is an honored guest in my home, you shall learn to whom your betters are. Any more tantrums to be had will be dealt with by me.”
He looked to the few in the room before taking back his seat. His power receding as he casually crossed his left leg over his right, the weight of it falling from everyone's shoulders. With their breath returned to them. Landon leaned on his right arm, mood soured from the young ocean maiden. Blood red eyes never returning to their calming gold. Belen’s shaken voice was the first to be heard from the eerie silence that now occupied the room.
“Who are you?” Her voice was timid, her gaze never meeting his. He needn’t answer as Ardner spoke for him.
“He is Landon, son of Lord Lucifer, fallen angel from the heavens, who was cursed to rule over hell, and Lady Lilieth, first woman created only to be seduced by the powers of Lucifer, turned succubus for her sins in the human realm. Grandson of the creator of realms, Guardian of all realms. Belen you would do best to learn of the people to which you will be forming allies with.” His older wise tone was filled with emotion, rage, disgust, and pity.
Belens gazed widened before slowly turning back to him. He flicked his gaze away from her, dismissing her completely. He was about to continue the meeting when he felt a sudden pang within his aura. His gaze widened before he turned to Lihell.
“Find her.” His voice a vicious roar. Blood red eyes filled with anger as he flew out of his seat faster than the eye could see. Arlo not far behind. Lihell already gone before Landon even finished his sentence. The small group staring at the spot that once was filled. What happened?
