I look at the door. I wanted to leave. I didn’t want to go in there. I hated doctors. I didn’t want them to see the scars I made and my dad made. I tried to wiggle out of Asami’s grip. “Please no. I’m fine. I don’t need to see a doctor.” I look at him.

Asami looked down at Yuki for a moment, slightly smiling trying to reassure him.

“ Yuki you have to, it's the only way for us to be able to see your okay, like really okay. if you want I can go in with you?” I looked to see Asami looking down at me.

“ But that depends entirely on you...we could leave and you will die of infection or we can go in that room and you will be diagnosed and we can go and take you back home to get your things and you can live with me.” Asami says while looking at the door to the waiting nurse which looked like she was going to grab us whether we wanted to or not. Asami slowly walks after the nurse still carrying me. I hid my face in his chest in humiliation, I didn’t want him to find out about my scars and current cuts and self harm. We walked into the X-Ray room and he set me on the table for an IE. I felt my heart skip a beat when he backs away into the other room. I was unable to take my eyes off him.

The machine vibrates under me. They are going to find all the broken and current injuries I inflicted on myself at this rate. My heart beats faster. I start to think that maybe they could hear it. I close my eyes and try to relax. I take a few deep breaths. I feel my heart slow down as I calm down. The lights go over me and then it’s over. I feel the table pull back and I open my eyes and Asami is standing next to me. I reach up and wrap my arms around his neck and I swing my legs around and pull myself up and wrap my legs around his waist and cling to him ashamed that he knows. Then I think about how long it takes for an x-ray to be made in only a couple of hours. Asami carried me out to the hospital bed for me as he laid me down, the nurses bustled in and started connecting me to the heart monitor and putting an IV in my arm. As the nurses leave Asami moves from the doorway and sits in the armchair across the room he crosses his legs and closes his eyes with a sigh.
