The first proper episode of Sir Kiljaos Windmane the lion paladin of wind in the world of Karamador, in it's era of renessance-fantasy, that I made in 2017, which explains the outdated art. I started these series of stories about Sir Kiljaos's quests at his home in the town Braheastad, which is based on town of Raahe in my home country Finland, in it's 1600's form, when it was founded. The name itself is a slight variation of the town's swedish name Brahestad.
The stories themselves I thought up to be usually based on local stories and legends and other finnish and scandinavian legends in general. This first comic is inspired by local ghost stories about a fairy in nearby Tasku island, that is said to aid fishermen during their times in the island and drive off bad people.
As I mentioned, I made this comic in 2017 and since then my artwork has improved and the newest comics are in color. These newer ones will show up here as well once I've shared these earlier stories!
In an other dimension, exists the world of Karamador, inhabited by humans and human-like animals and insects known as anhinis.
The first series, Karamador Fantasy, sets in a reneissance- fantasy type time era, during the times of great dangers and legendary heroes. We mostly follow the adventures of Sir Kiljaos Windmane, the lion paladin of wind. Sir Kiljaos is a wandering paladin who travels around his homeland Pohjoland and the other parts of Karamador, fighting the forces of evil and helping those in need, and in hopes to get paid in the process. During his adventures he also meets and teams up with many different companions to fight the forces of chaos, like for example the beastly insectoids of Hordium, the undead, demonic invasions and ruthless orcs.
Although Karamador is set in a fantasy world, many of it's locations are based more or less on real locations. Many of the stories also involve real life legends and folk lore, especially from Finland and Scandinavia.
