Then she remembers the first day back then. She had just turned 13. She held her bright blue duffle and fuzzy rainbow backpack. She gets off the bus carrying both of them. She looks at the lake as the camp leader brings out a really big old chest. He gave her a kind and comforting smile as he set the chest down.

“Welcome to Camp Loch Dobh. Loch Dobh means black lake. This camp is called that for 2 reasons. First it has a pitch black lake. Second is that it’s said to have a horrible secret. The secret is in this chest,” The leader greets and opens the chest. Inside the chest is filled with ears and tails for animal costumes. He handed them out to the kids. Once he got to her, he gave her the bunny costume. She put it on happily. Some of the other kids snicker at her. She didn’t care because she was a bunny. The councilors then told everyone their cabins and introduced themselves. She was placed into the green cabin. So, after she got settled into the cabin she realized a couple of things. First there was someone in her bed and second only her and the person were left in the cabin. She skittishly went up to the person and pokes them. The person wakes up and sits up. The person is a girl around the same age as Sarah.

“H...Hi,” Sarah greets.

“Hi, I’m Ginger,” The girl greets in a bouncy tone.

“I….I’m Sarah,” She introduces , “You’re in my bed Ginger.”

“Oh sorry. Is it ok if we share? I like cuddles,” Ginger says bashfully and Sarah nods. Ginger smiles and hugs Sarah. They hug then Ginger drags Sarah to the door. Only to be stopped by 2 teenage boys.

“So bunny, I think I found your hidey hole,” One of them says.

“Pl...Please let us through,” Sarah comments feeling kind of scared. They walk into the cabin and close the door behind them. Ginger and Sarah back up a bit.
