Greetings, everyone! I'm back from the long break (which I've used to add a new story to this series and to make progress on a contemporary novel I'm working on). Thank you for coming back to read "Tales from the North"!

We're starting a new story today, with protagonists that I'm sure you remember: Asvald - the creepy hunter from "The Slave and the Trolls" who finds slaves (one in particular) absolutely intolerable - and Aidan - the little boy from "The Enchanted Isles" who's now all grown up and... in a rather precarious position. How did they end up meeting? How do they interact? Stay tuned to find out! ^^

I hope you're ready for Asvald's dark humour, and for our old friends Hakon and Rannveig to make appearances too!
