'Right, I haven't introduced myself either, I'm Jin.'
With that, Thorne shows him the way to the bathroom, and soon Jin is left alone in a stranger's bathroom.
Like the rest of the mansion, the bathroom is big, very clean and luxurious. The theme of the room is ivory, with a few golden items.
Everything in the bathroom, the towels, the plants, the small items around the sink, like soap, look completely new. Jin feels very out of place in his dirty, torn up outfit, so he quickly takes it of. That doesn't help much, as his hair is also dirty and unwashed, and his tired eyes and unshaven facial hair also don't add any charm.
Luckily there is a razor next to the sink with a note saying 'use this'. There also is a brush for him to use, and on another shelf there are neatly folded clothes with a note, saying Jin can borrow them. For now though, Jin doesn't dare to touch any of the items as he could make them filthy.
There also is a big bath, filled with hot water and soap with a flowery scent. Before Jin gets into the bath, he quickly hops into the shower, to wash of some of the dirt.
Then he enters the bath. Finally he can relax. The warm water feels nice and refreshing on his skin, and the smell of the soap calms him down. He properly scrubs every part of his body, until he himself also smells like flowers.
When he finally gets out of the bath, there is a big towel waiting for him. He wraps himself up in it, and quickly dries himself of. He proceeds to blowdry his hair, and combs it to look presentable again. He also shaves. Now he looks like a proper human being again. Jin feels much more comfortable having to face Thorne now, as he doesn't look like a hobo anymore.
He carefully takes out the clothes that were left for him. He quickly puts on the fully black underwear, as he feels a little awkward wearing underwear that isn't his own. As for the rest of the clothes, there is a high-quality silky button up shirt. It's dark red, has ruby buttons at the sleeves, and the collar also has some detail. The pants are black business pants, with them comes a belt with some ruby details.
Every piece fits him perfectly.
Jin is a man that is usually well dressed, but he feels like he has never had on any clothes of this quality.
When he's dressed, he goes back downstairs, looking around the stairs. There are a lot of pictures and other art hanging on the walls there.
When he gets to the ground floor, Thorne is there waiting for him. Thorne looks at him from top to bottom, sizing him up. 'As I thought, it looks perfect' he mumbles to himself. Then he proceeds to look at Jin with one eyebrow raised. 'Where are you talking your old, torn and dirty clothes?'
Jin is holding his old clothes, as he felt it is wrong to just leave them lying around in the super clean bathroom.
'I didn't want to dirty your bathroom sir. I'm sorry.'
Even though Thorne feels a little annoyed, his expression and face stay completely calm.
'Alright, so now you're going to dirty yourself and the rest of my house with them?' is what he'd like to say, but doesn't. Instead, he says 'No need to apologize, just give them to me, I'll dispose of them.'
After Jin gives him the clothes, he puts them in a plastic bag and shows Jin to the dining room, where a meal is prepared for him, before walking of with the bag with dirty clothes.
Since Jin was told to start eating, and since he's really hungry, he first grabs some toast with different kinds of cheeses and some egg salad. Unfortunately, as soon as he takes a few bites, he starts feeling slightly unwell and he can't think straight anymore.
That's when Thorne walks in. He sees something's wrong. 'Are you feeling unwell? What did you just eat?' Thorne walks to Jin, and Jin feels like he sees a frown on his face for a second. Thorne quickly puts away the dishes Jin started eating, and gives him a red pill and a glass of water. 'This should help. I'll bring you something else, wait here.'
Jin takes the pill as he's told and drinks the water. Soon he can see clearly again and the pain fades away. Thorne comes back with a salad with mostly cucumber and some other vegetables. Even though it's a little plain, it does look delicious. He also brings a small bowl of rice.
'I see you're feeling better. This should be okay to eat, try this instead.'
As Jin eats the new food he's gotten, Thorne keeps looking at him.
'When you're done, I'll show you to your room.'
Jin quietly finishes eating, this time he doesn't start feeling unwell, and his hunger finally goes away. 'Thank you for the meal, sorry for troubling you.'
Thorne doesn't say anything, and shows Jin to a room upstairs that isn't normally used.
'Good night, I'll think of what to do further and how to help you, and I'll discuss it with you tomorrow.'
With that he walks away before Jin can say anything.
In the room there is a big closet, which is currently empty. There also is a nightstand with some plants and a few minor items.
The bed is a king-sized bed and when Jin lays down, it feels very soft. Even though Jin didn't feel as tired until now, as soon as he hits the sheets, the heaviness of his limbs overwhelms him and soon his mind goes blank, and Jin falls asleep in this mysterious mansion.
Jin wakes up with no memory of the past few days. He has nothing on him apart from his torn clothes, so he can't go anywhere.
All confused at a location he doesn't know, he decides to find civilization. Following a road he finds, he soon finds himself standing before a mansion. Not knowing what else to do, he asks the mysterious owner for help, and the mysterious young man decides to temporary take him in.
What happened to Jin? Why did the young man take him in? Soon Jin will find what he has forgotten and realize the danger he's is.
