The year is 2023. 25,000 have been trapped in the VR MMO GRiMOiRE due to an event of numerous black outs all over the world two years ago, causing the players to be unable to log out and die in real life if they get killed inside the game. The developers are working with the Government to make sure the players stay alive while they try to figure out how to fix this.
In comes Bradley0ren, a hacker who was sent in with two others to investigate from the inside. During his time in GRiMOiRE, he's befriended and grown attached to a guild called the Patchwork Alliance. These people have been sucked into an event where the head developer will grant the wish of any player who can defeat the Deities of Eos and obtain the fabled Grimoires from their towers. Here's the problem: the head developer has been dead for years. Bradley fears what is to come and is worried that his friends will get tied up in something they're not prepared to face.
