Lutefisk: LOO-tuh-fisk. The closest English translation is "Lye fish." Still haven't tasted it yet, but there's a lot of jokes on lutefisk I could mine.

They live in a fictional version of Davie Village, Vancouver, in a large townhouse across from Voyager's Landing, the Scandinavian cuisine restaurant Marcus co-owns and operates, along with the Halvorsens' Norwegian Buhund, Gjørmete ("Muddy" in Norwegian), and Marcus's American sous chef, Frankie Morales, who is also Marvin's Boyfriend.
