Saige stood beside me, on the stage of the pack house dining hall, holding onto my hand.

I waited for everyone to step inside. When I looked over at Jacob he gave me a nod, letting me know everyone had filed in.

“Good afternoon family! First and foremost, let’s start off with what happened on the run a few nights ago. Our Luna had a difficult run, and collapsed. During the hospital visit we’ve come to learn that… Our Luna bears our pups.”

Gasp and cheers overpower the room.

I look down at Saige and rub his stomach.

Saige blushes.

I put a hand out for the crowd to settle with a huge smile on my face.

“Calm yourselves.” I laughed out.

“That’s right, your Luna is pregnant with twins!” I shouted and the pack went crazy again.

Loud ‘whoops’ and whistles. Saige smiled as he looked over at the crowd.

“Settle again pack. Now with your Luna’s pregnancy, I would like to inform you that shifting while pregnant is highly dangerous, so our Luna here needs all the love and care, not just from me, but from all of you. Stress and strain for your luna is forbidden. Please help in any way possible. We appreciate your help. Next, as you all know that alpha summit approaches, you will be given your boundaries and your posts beforehand. It is your responsibility to protect yourself as well as your fellow members of this pack. The moment a rogue or any wrong movement you report it. Understood?”

“Yes Alpha!” The crowd shouts in unison.

“Thank you. Meeting adjourned. Have a great day everyone.”

I turned to Saige.

“How are you feeling, my angel?”

“I’m okay.” He says in a light voice.

“Let’s head over to the Omega house for the next meeting. Shall we?”

Saige nods. I lean down and pick him up bridal style, earning a squeak of excitement from Saige.

I kissed his forehead.

“Jacob! Let’s roll.”

My beta’s overseeing the new omega’s, hand me their files.

They were to get to know their omega, their trauma, their lives previously, likes, dislikes, etc.

The files were set in a pile on the table. Every new omega was seated.

Their beta’s stood off to the side, each holding a box with a half-dollar sized hole on the lid.

Each box contained a number and a plain t-shirt marked with the same number.

“Good afternoon omega’s.”

“Good afternoon Alpha.” They reply. I noticed since their coming here, they’ve done well with their beta’s. Enough to withstand the presence of an Alpha.

“I’m meeting with you today regarding the Alpha Summit. Next week mated and unmated alpha’s from different packs, all around the world will be attending this summit. Now the reason I’m telling you this is to give each and everyone of you the chance to find your mate.”

Eyes went wide.

“Don’t be afraid. As you see your beta buddy holds your box. Inside that box is a shirt. Each shirt has a number, your number. You simply take the shirt and wear it for the night. Returning the shirt back to your beta. The evening of the summit boxes will be lined up for the unmated alpha’s to be able to smell your scent.”

The omega’s relax after they know they won’t have to physically attend the summit.

“IF, your mate finds your scent. They and you are brought to the glass room. There you will be separated by un unbreakable glass with holes. You are able to see and speak to your mate. Your mate will know of your trauma beforehand, so that they know to be careful around you. Delicacy and safety is of the utmost importance. You have the right to reject your mate. Although I will state, 80% of the alpha’s that attend are decent. You have nothing to fear. It is your choice. Please join your buddies and have a good night.”

I had noticed halfway through my speech Saige had begun purring and rubbing my hand with his tiny thumb. When the meeting ended I bent down to Saige’s level.

“And what, may I ask, has my angel, has you purring so beautifully?”

Saige reddens and his purring gets a bit louder.

“I.. I think I... really like you. You make me feel things I can’t explain.” Saige replies shyly.

My heart went into chaos.

I try with every ounce of my being to contain my emotions, when on the inside, I felt like I was going to explode.

“Can you hear my heartbeat?” I ask.

Saige listens for a second and nods.

“You have no idea how much that meant to me right now. That was one of the best and sweetest things you could have ever said to me. I’m trying to contain my hands with you, my angel.”

I teased as I brought my lips to his. Kissing his soft lips slowly and lovingly.

“I really like you, my angel. I might even admit, that I find myself falling in love.”

Saige’s eyes widen and his body stills. I chuckle at his response.

“Come my angel, we have classes to enroll you in.”

“Well, it looks like both babies are doing well so far.” The doctor says as Saige laid in the ultrasound room.

I had requested another check up, just to get an update on the pups.

“One of the babies is bigger than the other. No doubt the bigger baby is an Alpha and the other an omega. We tend to notice with the growth of the baby over the pregnancy what they’ll be at birth.”

“Thanks doc. We gotta get going to the summit, but can you print about 4 of those pics for us?”

“Sure thing Alpha. Congratulations again my Luna.” The doctor says with a slight bow.

“Let’s get going my angel.”

Jacob met me at the doors when Saige and I arrived.

“How’d it go?” Jacob asks with excitement.

Saige giggles as he hands a picture to Jacob.

“For you, Uncle Jakey.” Saige teased.

“Yesss!” Jacob squeals.

I smiled.

“OH! Alpha. I needed to inform you that the Alpha Prince will be attending this evening.”

My eyes widened in shock.

“That’s new. Nobody’s seen him for a couple of years.”

“I know he’ll be arriving within the hour. Have a good time. I’ll be around overseeing the summit. Alpha. My Luna.” Jacob bowed before he wandered off in the crowd.

Saige clung to me as we made our way through the crowd. I kissed his head often and assured him constantly that he was safe.

We finally read our way to the corner when The Alpha Prince was announced.

Everyone bowed with his entrance.

He was as tall as myself. He wore his royal blue attire trimmed with gold and a white sash that almost matched the color of his hair. Aside from the black bangs that covered his left eye.

Saige watched the prince as he greeted his way through the crowd.

“Is he really a prince?” Saige asked curiously.

“He is. He ranks above all others, despite the size of any pack.”

“Cool.” he breathed out, making me laugh.

The prince got closer and spotted me standing with Saige. He froze. Eyes locked on Saige.

I fought the urgent need to growl, but he’s the prince.

He rushed his way closer, eyes never leaving Saige.

I fought harder to keep my emotions under control.

“Alpha Davian,” The prince’s eyes finally met mine.

“Is there somewhere I may speak to you and your Luna?”

“Absolutely your highness. This way.” I gestured to a room a few feet away. It was one of the rec rooms for the teens. I knew it’d be empty. I mindlinked Jacob to come to the room.

The moment we reached the door Jacob had caught up. We all stepped inside. Jacob was the last to enter, he stood at the door.

The moment the door closed, the alpha prince approached Saige and fell to his knees.

“Tell me it’s you.” The prince breathed out with tears ready to fall.

Saige froze with confusion.

The prince raised his hand to Saige’s face and gently brushed his hair away from his face.

I waited to see what he was going to do. I couldn’t accuse any wrong-doing until the act was done. This was the prince.

“Saige?” The prince asked with a shaky voice.

“Yes?” Saige said in a light whisper.

The prince broke down in sobs. Grabbing Saige and hugging him tight. This time I could not contain my emotion. His hands were all over my mate.

The prince drew back from the hug.

“I.. Have searched for you.. For so long.. Little brother.”

The shock around the room was obvious.

“Brother!?” Jacob and I said together.

“Yes. My twin.” The prince sobbed out.

“HOLY SHIT SAIGE! YOU’RE ROYALTY!”
