When they arrive, Thorne and Silver show Jin around the city center. After that they part ways, as Thorne apparently has some business he has to take care of, so Jin stays with Silver. Thorne gives Silver a look before he leaves. ‘Don’t do anything weird to him, don’t say anything weird either. Also don’t introduce him to your friends. If anything happens while you’re looking over him, there will be consequences. Jin, don’t trust him too much, and be careful.’ With that he walks of. ‘Well that’s a lot of stuff is can’t do’ Silver mumbles.

‘Now that that bother is gone, let’s have some fun. Bet you haven’t been out since you started staying with him.’

‘Even though I didn’t go anywhere with Thorne, he has been really nice to me and I wasn’t bored…’

‘Yeah, yeah I get it, sure. But why not take this chance to have some actual fun. There’s nothing wrong with having some fun once in a while right. Just don’t tell Thorne, he can get annoyed by almost anything. So, is there anything you’d like to do first?’

For some reason Jin can’t really imagine Thorne getting annoyed easily. Even though he doesn’t agree with Silver’s view on Thorne, he has to agree with Silver that he hasn’t gone out in a while and that it would be a waste to miss this opportunity.

‘Well if I should choose, then maybe we could look around the city for a bit, go see a movie and go for a drink after that.’

‘Great idea! You’re way more fun to spend time with than Thorne, hope we can go out more often!’

First, they stroll around the city and look around some shops. This feels a little similar to when Jin went to another village with Thorne. Silver is very talkative and generous, so he buys Jin a lot of stuff and tells him way too much about himself. He also buys Jin a plushie that kind of looks like himself. ‘Here you go. Even when you return to America, you’ll remember me!’

After shopping for a few hours, they go to a cinema. They randomly choose a movie that will start soon. It’s a movie in the genre action and fantasy. They actually look up the information after buying the tickets. It turns out to be a supernatural movie about vampires, which is basically the opposite of what Jin likes. He doesn’t like unrealistic plots and beings. Some sci-fi films aren’t completely bad in Jin’s opinion, but a fantasy movie about vampires isn’t something he’d watch. When he looks at Silver, it seems like he isn’t into this theme that much either. Still, they stay until the end.

After they leave, Silver starts talking again. ‘So, what did you think about this movie?’

Jin replies honestly ‘Well, I generally don’t like these types of fantasy or supernatural movies, it seems childish to believe in that kind of stuff. What about you?’

‘Hmm, the movie wasn’t bad overall, but I didn’t like the vampire theme too much either. Hearing you talk about it, you think there’s no chance something like vampires would exist?’

‘No. It seems quite unrealistic. There’s no way no one would have discovered them yet, and just think about it, a dead creature that drinks blood? It doesn’t make sense right.’

‘I guess you’re right, that does sound unrealistic. Anyway, what are we going to do next?’

‘It’s already 8PM and dark. We can go eat and drink something now for the rest of the evening.’

‘Alright! Good choice, I know a few nice clubs around here, so just follow me!’

Silver leads them to a part of the city just outside the city center. There is a big black building with glowing letters. They enter. On the inside it looks quite fancy. It seems a staff member already knows Silver, so they talk a little and then Silver turns to ask Jin. ‘Some of my friends are apparently also here in one of the private rooms. Wanna join them? Or should we go to a room just the two of us?’

‘The more the merrier right? There can’t be anything wrong with joining them for a drink.’ When Jin finishes his sentence, he remembers Thorne saying something about not meeting Silver’s friends, but he doesn’t say anything.

‘Alright then, let’s go.’ Silver says with a smile.

Jin and Silver follow the staff member through a closed of hallway and enter a room with number 07. Inside there are already 4 other people. Two of them are as tall as Silver, and two of them are shorter than Jin. They all look stunning, and some of them have unique eye colors like Thorne and Silver. There is one woman and three men. One of the men has his arm wrapped around one of the shorter guys and they’re sitting very close together. Silver goes to an empty corner of a sofa and Jin quietly follows him. Even though he’s been to these clubs more often, he feels like he doesn’t exactly fit in with this group of people. Jin isn’t bad looking at all, but compared to these people, he feels very average.

A man that is sitting alone and sipping an orange drink speaks up first. ‘Hey silver, it’s good you joined us. Who’s that next to you? Is that your new catch?’

Silver introduces Jin to them. ‘Everyone, this is Jin. Jin doesn’t know anyone here, so be nice to him. Jin, these are my friends, that lady over there is Natasha, those two guys are Cassius and Blake, and the last one is Orion.’

‘So where did you find him?’ Cassius asks.

‘I didn’t find him, Thorne did. He’s also currently staying with Thorne.’

Hearing Thorne’s name, everyone except for Blake looks surprised. Natasha even whispers something to Orion, who nods in response and later says:

‘Nice to meet you, I promise you won’t get bored with us.’
