“Tiki, you are so killing that new skirt,” Alya gushed on as Tiki giggled and looked away with a red face.
“Oh thanks. Just bought it yesterday.”
“Oh, did you now? The girls stopped at the voice of a brat they’ve known all their lives. Chloe Bourgeois stood in front of them, with Sabrina Raincomprix, her best friend, standing right behind her. Chloe was wearing the same skirt that Tiki was wearing.
“Looks like we’ve got a copycat on the loose,” Marinette chuckled. “Why are you wearing that, Chloe?”
Chloe rolled her eyes and took a step forward towards the girls. “Um, you should be asking the same question to you friend over there. I was shopping with Sabrina yesterday, and bought this skirt. Maybe your friend is the copycat!” She let out wide grin on her face.
The three girls rolled their eyes and started walking past Chloe and Sabrina.
“Tiki, you better watch it!” Chloe said, a warning tone in her voice, as she turned back. “I’m running for school president as well. Maybe you should start buying your own clothes instead of copying me!” The blonde and Sabrina cracked up, laughing so hard as they walked off.
“Don’t listen to them,” Marinette turned to Tiki. “I swear, they’re so jealous of us, it’s crazy. She think with her father, she can get anything she wants. Pfft, what a crazy thought right there.”
The other two girls laughed and started walking to grab a table to sit and eat their lunch. Finally they came across an empty table at the back and took their seats, placing their lunch in front of them.
“So, what’s new today?” Alya asked, a usual question she always asked whenever the girls got together.
Tiki blushed and looked down. “I… I think I’ve got crush on someone.”
“Oh, Alya and Marinette looked at her with interest in their eyes their mouth didn’t say any other words, but their eyes were telling Tiki to go on.
Tiki didn’t go on after that one sentence she spoke out.
“Alright, something new happened to me as well, Marinette giggled. “It’s actually crazy. I finally got partnered up with Adrien in Art class, but l… I feel like there is something wrong going on.”
“Like what?” Alya asked as she picked up her baguette, taking a bite out of it.
Marinette sighed, recalling what had happened in Art class. “We’ll… I noticed some girls giggled for some unknown reason. Also, I caught them take a secret picture of me and Adrien, like, what are they going to do with a picture of us.”
“We, either they’re crazy fan girls, or they need that picture for something,” Alya spoke.
“You said they were girls. Just how many were there?” Tiki asked looking down at her Steak-Frites.
“Um, about four,” Marinette answered. “Yeah, there were four of them. Alison, Amelie, Bette and Celia.”
“Oh God,” Tiki sighed. “I know those girls. Those are the girls that spread rumors around here. They are known as the Rumor Girls. They also basically find secrets about people and spread it for every ears to hear. I hate those girls so much!
“Alison Celeste is the leader or them, the one who stared the group. Celia Celeste is her sister, 2 months younger than her, and was the second to join. Next was Bette Cadence, Alison’s best friend. And the last one to join was Amelie Darcey.”
Marinette chuckled. “Whatever. What are they going to do with one picture of me and Adrien?” She turned down to her lunch. “Anyway, I got you girls some croissants and macaroons like you wanted.” Marinette finished her lunch very quickly, and opened a different bag, handing it over to Tiki and Alya.
“Oh gee, thanks,” Alya laughed. “I didn’t think you would. I’ll just hand some out to my sisters after school. They’ve always wanted to taste your crissants and macaroons anyway.”
“Amazing!” Tiki took a bite of a croissant. “After this, I won’t hold my hungry again for the next 6 hours. That’s just how long I can hold my hunger.” She wiped her mouth with the sleeve of her shirt, before she focused on the snacks again.
45 minutes later, the bell sounded out everything, and they all started to pack their bags and lunch packs, getting ready to go back to their usual classes.
Marinette stood up, but stopped in her tracks once she saw the same four girls looking at her with such smirks up on their faces, as if they were planning something that was going to interest everyone.
Maybe I should talk to them. She had never really bothered with that thought. She had never even bothered to look at these girls and worry about them, but why did they look so dangerous right now?
“Marinette, let’s go,” Tiki stood up. “You’ve been staring at those girls. Don’t let them bother you; they just waste time with other people’s lives because their lives are boring and got nothing to do with them.”
Marinette nodded and started following her friends outside of the cafeteria. Once she turned around again, she could see that the girl’s eyes were on longer at her, but at Adrien instead.
Just what is their problem?!
“So, what next class do you two have?” Alya asked as she placed her bag next to her locker, then started unlocking her locker. “I have Math.”
“Same, Marinette nodded, doing the same thing Alya was doing. Opening her locker, she put her bag neatly inside, fishing out her math books.
“We’ll, what a shame. I have Science.” Tiki rolled her eyes, her face showing just how much she disliked science. “And what’s worse? Chloe’s going to be there! Ugh, this day couldn’t get any worse.”
Don’t worry, Tiki, you’ll get through,” Alya crackled, then she turned to Marinette. “Hey, know what I found out? Adrien is also going to be in Math class.”
“Yeah,so?”
“Haven’t you noticed that Adrien is in almost all you classes? It’s as if the Principal planned it all the teachers,” Alya laughed again, making Marinette roll her eyes with a small smile.
“Alright, I’ll see you two in my next then,” Tiki waved and started walking away to her class.
Alya turned to Marinette, this time replacing her smile to a small worried look. “So how are you doing at home?”
“Wares, Marinette shut her locker. “But let’s not speak of this, Alya. I don’t want anyone else knowing of my problem. Let’s go to class.”
Alya looked like she was about to say something else, but instead shut her mouth and followed Marinette.

Marinette entered class and quickly took her seat. Her eyes then widened when she saw Alison Celeste, one of the four girls, walk up and take a seat right in front of her.
I never noticed that she literally sat right in front of me. Am I going blind? Marinette chuckled. At least now it would be easier to talk to her.Marinette leaned over and tapped Alison on the shoulder. Alison Celeste turned around to face, and smiled even more widely one she saw it was the one and only Marinette.
“Hey, Alison flashed her a smile, and Marinette shrugged. “Lately I’ve seen you and your friend staring at me as if you want something. Um, is something going on?”
“Why do you bother with us?” Alison frowned at her. “A lot of people look at you as if they want something, so why us?!”
“I saw you and your friends take a picture of me and Adrien. Don’t you know that pictures is not allowed in school?” Marinette warned, but Alison didn’t seem to care.
“So what?, it’s not like we’re the first ones to take pictures of you in class,” Alison rolled her eyes in annoyance.
Marinette wasn’t sure if Alison was going to tell her anything, but she didn’t budge either. “I’ve heard of you girls as the girls that spread rumors about other. If you and your friend are planning on spreading rumors about me, then you better stop right now!”
Alison only replied back with a snigger, then turned back to the front.
Marinette glared down at her desk. I can already tell that these girls are trouble!
Suddenly she heard laughter coming from the room beside them. She wasn’t the only one who heard-the whole class was looking around wondering what was going on.
“Maybe next time, you should be so jealous of me!” Someone exclaimed, and Marinette quickly realized it was Chloe. She turned to Alya, and Alya nodded, getting same idea.
Marinette stood from her seat and rushed to the opened door of the class, towards the girls bathroom.
What happened?
Marinette walked out of her class, heading over to Chloe, while Alya headed to the girls bathroom to ask Tiki what was wrong.
“Chloe, what did you do this time?!”
Chloe stopped laughing and turned to Marinette. No matter how much she wanted to, she knew she couldn’t insult Marinette, after all Marinette was way more popular than her and she could lose friends
If other heard that she went against Marinette.
“Just taught Tiki a little lesson,” Chloe shrugged, as if it was no big deal. “Taught her not to steal other’s clothing and just buy her own. Nothing much.”
“Chloe, I’m warning you! Stay away from Tiki if you know what’s good for you! Why do you enjoy torturing other?!” Marinette growled everyone that crowed around hearing her. “Tiki is my friend, and I will not let her get this treatment from you ever again, Chloe! Just back off!”
Chloe gritted her teeth as all she could do now was watch Marinette leave, running tomorrow the girls bathroom that Tiki and Alya had ran into.
Going inside, Marinette could hear Tiki muffled voice. Then next she heard Alya, telling her that it was okay. Marinette walked closer, asking them what had happened. Then she gasped to see that a part of Tiki skirt had been ripped.
“He was there, Marinette,” Tiki cried, pushing her red hair behind her ear. “I was so embarrassed. He was there!”
“Whoa, slow down. Who’s he? Marinette frowned.
Alya sighed. “Her crush. Apparently, he had the same class as her and was there to witness Chloe rip her skit. Marinette, Chloe has definitely gone too far!”
“I’m sorry about this, Tiki. Don’t worry, I spoke with Chloe, telling her to leave you alone.” Marinette gave her a little reassuring smile. “Look, she had to listen to me, otherwise I won’t let her off so easily!”
“Thank you, you two. But I… I just want to go home now,” Tiki sniffed, exiting the bathroom. “I’ll see you two tomorrow. Don’t forget to vote for me!”
Are you kidding?! We’re going to be your first votes, Tiki, don’t worry,” Alya laughed. “Right, Marinette?” Marinette nodded with a smile, though feeling bad for Tiki.
“Do you know who her crush is?” Marinette finally asked, but Alya only shook her head, telling Marinette that soon Tiki would come out of the closet and tell the.
As they walking out of the bathroom, all around they looked, they could see pictures of girls and boy that were competing for the school president, including Tiki. A bunch of “vote for Me!” were on the wall, under pictures of everyone, with quote to go along with it.
“Marinette?”
The two girl turned around, seeing Adrien Agreste and Plagg Nelson together, which was surprising.
“Is your friend okay?” Adrien asked.
“Y-yeah, she is,” Marinette nodded. She then turned over to Plagg, whom she didn’t really know that well. Is it possible that Plagg might just be the boy Tiki was talking about? She shook her head at the thought and followed Alya away from the boys.
The two of them walked back to their class, walking past Chloe, who was still glaring
“Marinette, just because you’re popular doesn’t mean it gives me any reason to respect you!” Chloe grumbled, getting Marinette’s attention again. “Back off. I’m not just going to stand by and have you talk to me like that. Don’t forget that my father is still the Mayor of Paris!”
“Your father can’t really do anything to me though,” Marinette smirked. “If you father does something bad to me, he’s going to need a reason, and me warning you to stay away from Tiki isn’t a good enough reason. People are just going to hate on for doing something to Marinette Dupain-Cheng. Watch it, Chloe Bourgeois. I’m really warning you!”
With another eye roll, she walked inside class with Alya.
