(Two years pass)
No one has heard from or seen Hades. Meanwhile Zeus to pleads with Odin to let Loki live on his oath that Hades won’t retaliate. Odin filled with resentment chooses not to listen. Moments later he departs from Valhalla, with baby Loki in hand for all of earth to see. All of Man and God is called to watch. When he arrives he notices amongst the crowd Baldr, his own son accompanied by a Women and two children.
It’s safe to assume that his son has disobeyed him but he knew that if it was so, that he would be willing to destroy his own son. He pretends that he doesn’t see them as continues to with the execution. Zeus being observant knows of his hypocrisy and brings it to light.
Zeus yelled “I known you to be many things Odin! Never did I think you would be hypocrite!”
Odin replied, “How dare you!”
“There you are! Ready to kill a mere child, for commiting a crime that isn’t his own. When your own children in the their Divinity defy you!”
“You watch your tongue, Zeus! I am not one of your Olympians!”
The argument continued, the two almost come to blows. Tensions are high until Odin turns and locks eyes with Baldr. Enraged over Zeus accusations and saddened by the his sons actions, he finds himself conflicted. Without dismissing everyone, Odin departed taking Loki back to Valhalla.
Zeus enraged also departs without dismissing anyone to Olympus. When he arrive he is met by Cerberus. Even he knew that his presence could only mean one thing.
Zeus gritted his teeth as he spoke. “You have some nerve showing your face around here brother.”
Hades replied calmly, “I thought we could have a talk brother, as you have now seen what I have seen just like the rest of the gods.”
“I have seen nothing.”
—Dark clouds gather—
“Oh brother stop, we all seen you argue with Odin. It’s funny that he wants to make an example out of my son because he’s half Greek knowing his own son stands before him baring two children with a human…Odin disrespects us Greeks and you just let him. Sounds like you’re scared of him.”
(Lightning strikes next to Hades)
“I’m scared of no one!” Zeus yelled.
Hades laughs, “Seems like I touched a nerve little brother…Fortunately for you, I did not come here to fight…I came to ask for your help.”
“Help with what?”
“It’s time we waged war on the Norse Gods. Take our places back at the head of table, it’s time that Zeus, you take your place as the ‘God of the Gods’ again.”
“You sound foolish Hades, we are at peace there is no need for war.”
“Peace? Peace! How is there peace when Odin is calling all of the shots and Greeks suffer every time! How is there peace when Odin wants to kill my son, your nephew! How is there peace when Odin kills his own sister because I love her…There is no peace!”
“Freya is dead?”
“My God brother, what do you Know? She’s been dead that was her punishment mine was eternal damnation and hers was death but we’re at peace though right?”
“I’m sorry brother, I didn’t know.”
“Of course you didn’t. Odin doesn’t respect you, why would he tell you.”
“Listen, even if I agreed to this what makes you think we can win? “
“The Kimberly blade.”
“The Kimberley blade? Hades, I thought I told you to destroy that thing?”
“Yeah well, Its good thing I didn’t listen huh?”
Zeus shook his head. “We would need Aries to wield the blade him or Athena.”
“Athena is pregnant.”
“How do you know this?”
“Brother seriously, what do you know?”
The brothers laugh and hug unknowing that someone was listening to their conversation, and that some one was Hela. She quietly leaves and goes back and tells Odin everything that hades and Zeus talked about. She leaves Odin and meets once again with Hades in the underworld.
Hela smirked, “Well that went according to plan.”
Hades turned, “I told you I know my brother he would never let me fight a war by myself.”
“So do you really plan on killing Odin and Zeus?”
“Once Aries kills Odin, I will kill Aries and I will kill Zeus. They all tried to take my son away from me, I will not stand for that.”
Hades stepped towards Hela closely.
Hela smiled “And, what about me?”
Hades grabs her by the waists pulling her in closer, “You will rule by my side and together we rule Olympus and Valhalla.”
