On the one hand I wish I'd gone with a larger paper size to really show the scale of an amphibious assault, but on the other hand it would have gotten out of hand really quickly. So for purposes of artist sanity, the number of obstacles and soldiers has been kept to 'just enough to tell the story' levels.
