''Does this man really not know about the apocalypse?'' I thought to my self

"APOCALYPSE! " HE SAID surprised

"yes the apocalypse that started t--"

"ughhghhghhhhhhgggggg"

"What's that sound?"

OH NO "RUN! FOLLOW ME QUICKLY!" There were more of them in here!

blocking our path was a zombie

I used my blade to cut its  head off

"WHAT ARE THOSE THINGS!?" he asked

"Be quite you will only bring  more of them!" we ran

and ran but we reached a dead end

"oh no what will we do!" he asked worriedly

"There's a door there we will go into that room"

I tried to open the door but it looked like it needed a ID OR KEY CARD

"Wait let me" He said

"What are you going to d-" he pulled out a ID CARD From his pocket and used it on the door.

BEEP

"WELCOME MR. SMITH"

WE ENTERED THE ROOM AND SLAMED THE DOOR SHUT

"What were those things?"He asked

"you really don’t know what's been going on for the past three years huh" I said in surprise "those things were zombies"

"Thre- THREE YEARS I WAS IN A COMA FOR THREE YEARS" He screamed

"Shssssss calm down"

"HOW DO YOU EXPECT ME TO CALM DOWN I WAS IN A COMA  FOR 3 YEARS” he screamed

"there's nothing you can do about that now "I replied

"fine" he replied angrily "so where are we right now?" he asked

"We are in a ECR LAB"

"what's a ECR LAB?'

at first I thought he was joking but he looked serious.

 "Do you really not know?"                                                               

"no, I don’t remember anything" He answered

"alright, ECR LAB means Energy Core Research LAB. This lab used to be used to research energy cores"

"What are energy corers?"He asked

"energy cores are the organ that allows people to wield and use abilities"

"abili--" "Yes abilities are real" I answered before he could even ask

"I would show you but I can't because of the zombies outside they are blind to everything except the energy in our energy core and will

try everything they can to bite us and if I use my ability now even more zombies will come that’s why I use a blade"

"Why do they want to bite us?"he asked

"They want to bite us to steal out abilities"

"there are 4 class of zombies

stage 1 zombie with 0 abilities

stage 2 zombie with 1-2 abilities

stage 3 zombie with 2-3 abilities

stage 4 zombie with 4-6+ abilities

Stage 2  zombies are the most common followed up by stage 1 then stage 3 and stage 4

stage 4 is also the most dangerous zombie one stage 4 zombie could destroy an entire camp alone.

but all stage zombies have the ability to regenerate"

"Rey, my name is Rey" I said

"And what is your name?" I asked

"I - I don’t remember"

"that’s alright we will stay here for the night"

"get some rest, we will set out for camp tomorrow"
